Alot of people I know dont want to watch this movie based on the cover, I'm glad I gave it a chance. Love it from start to finish. Different from everything else coming out now adays

The acting & cast were excellent in this movie. Incredibly talented musicians in the movie. Movie was very suspenseful.

I had heard about J.K. Simmons performance, which is outstanding, but the story and all performances were excellent. Not one to watch with the kids due to language.

I cannot state strongly enough how much I enjoy this film. Its a tour de force of JK Simmons amazing talent and the whole film is filled with opportunity to see him and Miles Teller shine.

Didn't quite know what to expect when buying this DVD. My wife and I watched it and both loved it. It has great acting and a few twists here and there. I would recommend buying this DVD.

This movie is very interesting, has great acting, and sad at the same time. Some of the things said in this film are very true about musicians. Worth the purchase! A++

Cannot recommend this film enough. Miles Teller and JK Simmons are brilliant. The music is amazing. I never thought a movie about drumming would be so suspenseful and gripping.

Whiplash is intense and engaging. Best Buy stores are really great but the customer service for their credit card is terrible so don't use that. Enjoy this great movie though.

This is a good movie for several reasons. The story keeps you watching and surprises if not shocks the senses. A must see - You have to find out why it is called "Whiplash."

Tightly knit story on an unusual music theme that will keep your attention throughout. Acting is top notch by both leads. J.K Simmons performance was definitely Oscar deserving.

JK is one of my favorite character actors - loved him since seeing him in OZ. Hope this movie will be a springboard for him to appear in more mainstream movies.

This movie was absolutely fantastic, with amazing music, outstanding performances by Miles Teller and JK Simmons, and the most exciting finale to a movie in quite some time. Watch it.

The demanding mentor/ determined student storyline is not new but this show is a must see for anyone that enjoys that genre. This is adult dialogue ! Incredible!

Not a fan of Miles Teller, but the story is solid and JK Simmons delivers in spades. Damien Chazelle is just a master of his craft.

Excellent movie, from acting, to directing, you can’t go wrong with this one, one of my favorites for sure
