I liked this film and thought the acting was fantastic. But as an overall piece, it was just okay. It was a good insight on how competitive and serious a teacher and its students take competitions. However, it wasn't anything mind-blowing. Overall, a decent to very good film, with five star acting.

You’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t watch this masterpiece!

This is easily one of my favorite Oscar worthy movies of recent years. JK Simmons has a great performance and intensity.

I have it a 4star it was a movie of shear abuse but the courage of the music students working with a very disturbed music professor who passed the line of teaching to abuse how one student handled himself was inspirational great acting a lot of mental abuse not for the faint hearted
