This was a good movie and a great price on a steelbook.

JK Simmons is so diabolical as the instructor of this elite music academy and totally embodies the evil genius that it will make it difficult for me to see him as anything other than this character. Although it is possible for an instructor to conduct himself in this way it would seem to be criminal behavior. The acting was superb but the plot lacked believability and drifted into a sick, twisted viewpoint.

Brave story telling of struggle to be the best artist. Music which is great is a character on its own in this movie. Recommended.

With all the buzz I finally got around to watching it. It was good . Miles Teller was top notch as was JK Simmons.

Definitely would recommend this movie. I didn't watch this in the theaters, but would definitely watch this again.
