Perfect microwave and perfect size for over my stove. I would definitely recommend

Needed more room above the range. This unit fits the bill and looks great.

First off, I love this microwave. It's compact, elegant, cooks like a boss, and fits mugs, takeout containers, and full size dinner plates. What more do you need? I installed it myself, and outside of the weight and the fact that you *will* need 2 people to install it, it was easy to install. I think altogether, including removing old microwave, retrofitting vent and installing a plug in the cabinet, it took us about 4 hours. However, from the very first time I used it the door is inconsistent about opening. This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars and if Whirlpool has a solution for this I'd bump this to 5 stars easily. When I say 'inconsistent' I mean I have to hit the button 3x or more to get it to finally open, and there's no way to pull it open. So basically, if the door doesn't decide to open then your microwave doesn't work.

Waited for this pricey unit to come on sale and you should, too! Super easy to use and the narrow profile changes the way the kitchen looks and the ability to see range controls for the better. Controls are super-sensitive, surface cleaning sets everything off with a whisper of a touch. Most disappointing so far - makes terrible popcorn, and watch out when reheating in a taller vessel as there seems to be a 'burn spot', but I'm still learning how to use after decades of giant microwave interiors.

Nice looking over-the-range microwave that thanks to its slim design allows for more room between the range and the microwave. Seems to work well so far.

These guys came in, were very informative and so experienced. They were experts at the install level, kept me informed, and cleaned up after themselves. They also installed my dishwasher and plug plus another plumbing hardware ..... all part of the install price. They leveled the dishwasher and checked it twice and again cleaned up after themselves. Worth the extra money. job was done very fast and efficient, True professionals!

Best microwave purchase ever, love the sleek design and functionality.

The only way I could have a microwave over my oven was to purchase the low profile. It fits great. I like the microwave however the timer sound is so low when preparing other food items you can't hear when the timer ends. There are three options - low, medium, high. Low you can't hear anything even standing in front of it. I have my set to high and when I'm working elsewhere in the kitchen you can't hear when the microwave is finished cooking.

Love it! So glad I decided on the low profile. It looks great. So easy to use. Great quality.

Love this micro with the low profile, allows for larger cabinet above. Only draw back is due to color in that the black is a tough clean… probably tougher to wipe clean than the stainless model.

This is the Best microwave out on the market! We shopped around for days and decided to change to above stove style to give extra counter room and we are so happy we did! It was pretty easy to install, and not only does it look awesome . But it works amazingly better than any other microwave I have ever used in my 38 years of life. If your thinking about it just spend the extra paper and get it !

I needed a microwave with a low profile. I thought this might affect performance but it has not. I love the sleek design, modern functionality, and it is powerful and spacious inside.

Since it was on back order i had to wait a month For it to be installed. So since it sticks out further, i can’t convene reach in the cupboard above anymore. I need a stool. Something to keep in mind. Otherwise, so far it’s nice. Can’t really judge performance… u sent me review request before I received it !!!

Installation instructions was a little confusing, I figured it out after a bit. Once installed. The unit was great. Be careful it heats food well in a fraction of the time. Supervise all kids when using the unit over a stove. Installed ductless so it vents out the top into kitchen space. It is apparent when the fan is running. Not quiet. The underneath bulb is not as bright as previous hood vent. I plan to install 2 lights. Wife is :)
