We had it for just over two weeks and it started buzzing and stopped heating. Since Whirlpool doesn't repair microwaves, we're stuck waiting for them to decide what to do. Who knows how long it will be before we get a replaced. Furthermore, this is the SECOND unit that has failed in the last six months. When we moved into our home in June, the microwave, like all the appliances, was brand new. It failed on 12/19/2020, which is why we purchased the new one (Whirlpool did not honor the warranty. Said our home wasn't new and we didn't have a receipt.)

One pretty minor "wish it were different": The microwave is light, and when you push the start button, the whole microwave will slide back, unless you reach behind the corner to hold it while you push.

My old microwave was just that, OLD! So it was loud all the time. So maybe I'm just not used to it, but I would still highly recommend this microwave!

After 10 months, it started sparking off the little waveguide cover on the right hand side (which was discoloured). I called Whirlpool, and they replaced the entire microwave, including installation. 7 months later, and the replacement microwave has started sparking just like the 1st one. Only difference is, this time the waveguide cover isn't discoloured at all, it's just throwing arcs and sparks. I can't recall ever not having a microwave in 40 years, and had never had one do this, yet I've had 2 from this company do it within the span of less than a year. Doesn't matter how easy to use the microwave is or how well it functions when it works when, at any given time, it can start throwing arcs and potentially harm somebody.
