Really like this microwave and the ease of using it. First Whirlpool microwave but I love whirlpool products and have great luck with them lasting.

Oven is easy to program and works well. Has good looks with the trim kit we purchased separately. We paid to have the unit installed. They came early, took the old unit and the installer was out in 20 minutes. Very happy so far.

Replacing an 18 year old Whirlpool. This stainless is really nice. Key pad has a functional layout that is easy to read. This unit is super quiet and cooks perfectly. A great looking and functional unit.

When we purchased our home, this model was installed above the built-in Whirlpool oven. Unfortunately, after a year, the magnetron lit the mica shield on fire, so we had to remove the microwave. Not knowing how the previous homeowners may have mistreated the unit, we purchased an identical one from BestBuy so it would simply pop into the existing trim. Fast forward three years. The time display is now starting to lose segments. Pretty much makes the clock/timer useless, so now we have a $300 popcorn popper. Really? LEDs are so reliable that this should be the last thing one expects to fail. But, from the other reviewers here, this is not an uncommon problem. And, like the other users say, no service parts. It is weird how many “microwave control boards” one can find on whirlpool parts.com, but none for this unit. So, unless you are one to purchase BB extended warranties, plan on shelling out $300 every three years for this model. And no, Whirlpool, please do not reply about going to your facebook page. Not everyone is a lemming.

Had to replace an existing microwave and found an exact match.

Overall this microwave does what it is suppose to do. It fits into the cabinet opening perfectly. The only negative I have about the unit is it only beeps once when it is done heating up. A previous microwave I had would beep every 30 seconds until you opened the door.

We purchased the same model we previously had, because it was affordable & fit in the built in shelf. Everything works fine so far.

Works great!! Have been able to decrease the cooking times on all our favorite foods. Door latch had stuck and was difficult to use at first, but has since loosened up.

My last Whirlpool Microwave lasted 25 years and had to replace it because the door latch gave up. The door latch on this one is stiffer to open, but probably will get better with use. The new sensor modes compared to my old one are a great improvement. It is a little louder in operation, but for the money it is still a good unit.

So far so good. Reliable at this point. Haven’t had any issues. Cooks well and is somewhat quiet.

This microwave works great. We love it, never realize how much we depend on a microwave.

We got it to match our other appliances. It works and looks great but the door opening button is not great and sticks at times. Seems like it could break after only a couple of months.
