The door started to give us trouble within days and after a few weeks the door wouldn’t open without repeatedly pushing the button.

We took the microwave out of the box and pushed the button to open the door and couldn't believe how cheaply made it was. The door won't open without using a lot of pressure pushing the button in repeatedly. We returned it and bought an LG that we are very happy with.

I purchased several appliances from Best Buy that day and purchased warranties on all of them. Somehow, the warranty on THIS appliance never got registered. And of course, the panel has stopped working. Now, I can't get a Best Buy repair. What a HASSLE!!!!

Not real happy about that as we take care of our appliances. Second time in four years. This Whirlpool seems to be straight forward in function and reliability. Only annoying thing is that you can not disable the beep that occurs when the timer has completed. Seems like an easy addition to feature set.
