Replacement Microwave

Microwave that developed a crack in the plastic on the door. It was 7 yrs old. This newer model has 30 sec vs 1 min options, but most other options are basically the same. The only thing I find annoying is the alarm for when food is ready. It is screeching!

The keypad should be illuminated and it is a bit noisy. But it beats what we had. This was the best product for the space we had available for an over-the-store replacement. Whirlpool has a good reputation for quality and the customer service as well as the installation team can't be beat

Making popcorn and heating up leftovers, generally, and for that it's just fine. It cooks veggies ok too, like squash. If you're looking at it to defrost meat, etc., it will do that too, but like all microwaves, it won't be the same as letting the product thaw on its own. Oh, it's good at cooking bacon too.
