The number pad, as with all the microwaves I seen were cheap plastic. That product is particularly hard to keep clean.

Sounds tinny, like a metal box when closing and opening. Works well for cooking. No pause, just a plain operating system for the unit.

Replaced it only to find out it won’t turn completely off which is probably why original bulb burned out so quick. Now it doesn’t work at all.
