For whatever reason, the over-the-range light is placed to the rear of unit. This provides little useful light on the burner portion of the range beneath. If it weren’t for the time and effort to install this microwave, it would have been returned.

Didn’t realize it was the microwave until a friend heated something and the smell was really strong and microwave started to smoke. I unplugged it and haven’t used it again. I will purchase a new one , however a different brand.
