Installation was harder than expected... but for the price, the value is superb, and once installed it's not a bother anymore. The over the counter fan is really loud, but on the other hand is quite effective. It is much, much more powerful than my smaller microwave, YET it heats MUCH more evenly. I am very, very satisfied with that, it is a huge step up! I have a glass popcorn maker, where you put in a set amount of corn and it pops it. In my old oven it took 2 min 30 to pop, and there were either a lot of unpopped leftovers, or significant burned - and, despite the burns, still plenty unopened kernels. With this oven: 2 minutes exactly, and all popped, no burns! (I don't even use the popcorn setting, just add 2 min and done ; )

Really think whirlpool appliances have a classy look, work great and are great value! Made in USA too!

This over-the-range microwave looks so good in my kitchen over the Whirlpool Range. The combination was just right. I was so glad to purchase them together. It is larger inside than it appears. I recommend getting the pair.

The "Whirlpool - 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Stainless steel" fits well in my kitchen. It is an all contemporary-looking steel finish microwave. Unlike my earlier dull-white microwave this is very easy to use, light touch button-operated device. The buttons/programs are all easy to use self-explanatory. Definitely recommended if you want to upgrade your kitchen on a budget.

Easy to use and immediately ready for use. Although it lacks some of the bells and whistles of more expensive models (no need to study a manual), it does what it's supposed to do.

This microwave is a nice size and has a rotating plate. I’m not sure why they don’t standardize the way the controls work on microwaves (such as weather you push cook or the time first) like they do with so many other things. This one is the opposite of what I’ve used for the past ten years, so it took some getting used to. There are also several other buttons, so I’m sure it can do amazing things. I haven’t had the time or need to test them all out. It’s fairly easy to clean.

Love the interior. Easy to clean. Not noisy and it doesn't keep beeping when it's done. The only issue is for example potatoes it's either small or large. I use medium size potatoes so I have to stop it after 5 minutes or it will get nuked. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

This is a good all-purpose microwave. The interior is big enough for anything I'd want to nuke. The sound, when it's operating, is a bit louder than my previous microwave but not annoyingly so. It's really easy to clean. I thought the stainless steel exterior would be harder to keep clean but it doesn't show fingerprints. The only thing I would change is the number panel. The lighting in our kitchen is not great, so at night, it's hard to see what you want to press to set the time of operation. The installer Best Buy hired was really efficient and it went a lot quicker than I thought it would.

Replaced a 20 year old Samsung over the range microwave. The Whirlpool is much quieter and just as easy to operate. We love our new microwave.

Works great; easy to use and quieter than other brands. Removal of the old microwave and installation of the new microwave was professional and quick.
