My new microwave

The stainless steel finish matches my refrigerator and my stove, which is great. The turntable works really well. Not a lot of excess buttons or programs to confuse the more mature user. The only issue I find with it is it does not have a keep warm setting, which I have used quite frequently in the past on my old microwave.

It looked great in the box but it didn't fit our existing brackets/space. So I got stuck having to repurchase the other brand even though I really wanted this Whirlpool. We have Whirlpool fridge and it's going strong and this had great reviews so I think you can't go wrong with this assuming your brackets have no issues.

Whirlpool microwave

Not as many cooking features as other microwaves in the price range. We will see if it is reliable over the long term. Installation was a bit difficult as microwave did not mount in the existing space without some modifications, such as drilling new holes for the mounting bolts, and removing some wood strips in the space over the range in order for it to fit,

I am very pleased with my selection. It has the features I wanted, does what I want and need it to do, and looks great in the kitchen. What more could you ask for?

Easy to install. The only recommendation is they change the template from the cardboard box to a sheet of paper.
