We are very excited about the great ease we had with the installation, and the construction of the Whirlpool microwave oven.

Need to have some technical expertise. Not a simple install. It would be nice if all brands had the same type of mounting configuration. I ended up having to saw out a part of a stud to install. Took half a day and had to wait for a friend to come over for final because there is no way for one person to lift it into place. I started my search on line and it said that my first choice was in stock at my local Best Buy, so I went there to purchase it. When I got there it took 10 minutes to be greeted and another 5 to be helped. Only to be told "yes it is in stock" and later "I can't find it". A transaction that should have been leaving the store with my first choice in ten minutes, turned into a 50 minute ordeal with a second choice that ended up causing a completely different install.

This microwave has many functions and is super easy to use. My food warms evenly and I love how sleek it looks!

I bought this microwave on sale and got it for a good price. It works great and I would recommend a GE product.

Very good product for the cost. Was easy to install and wasn't too heavy. Still need two people to do it though.

Bought this mainly because the door closed nicely. Didn't need to be slammed. Husband & I installed. Had read that a person installed by themself...no way! The paper temp plate was a bit tricky to manipulate. But we did it and and are pleased, so far, with microwave. Getting used to the defrost feature, have to put in numbers for what you are defrosting. Although it is clearly marked in side microwave I kind of preferred my old method of just putting in so much time. Good deal overall!

I purchased this microwave as an open box item. It was easy to install for this non-handyman and so far it has been working great.

Easy to read settings. Quick cooking, large capacity. Labor Day Sale made this a great deal.

I can't really say why this shouldn't be 5 stars. It works and looks great. I just miss some things about my old micro!!

Like the new microwave. It is a bit large for over the stove. Lots of features.

The first one was damaged in shipping but they took it back and sent new one. The second one is nice and was easy to install.

I choose the Whirlpool Microwave because of the convienence of it being in store as an open box. I've had issues in the past when ordering black appliances, so once I saw this, I had to get it. I am upgrading from an 80's GE microwave, so this is 1000 times better. It functions as it should and is great to have. It fits in "standard" overhead microwave spots nicely. The only issue I had with this is it was an open box and I was told all the parts were included, but it was missing a couple mounts.

I cancelled my installation that I had arranged through BestBuy a couple of days before the microwave was scheduled to be installed but was automatically billed for the installation. Although I have exchanged several emails with BestBuy who stated that a reversal for the installation charge would be made immediately, three weeks later no reversal yet. BB's customer support is very much lacking.

This it a great quality microwave. It has all the basics, works well and a reasonable price. It is the best value.

So far so good. No complaints. Has the features I needed. Installed quickly and easily.

President's Day - Our Top of the Line suddenly stopped working. Quick get a replacement! President's Day Sales, found this Basic Model. Promised to upgrade ASAP, and 30 days later still promising. If she's happy, I'm happy. But, one day, the word will come to upgrade. HIGH MARKS for Easy to Install EASY TO USE Low Marks for Just the Basics. No frills. Both appropriate for the price point.

My wife and I are very pleased with this microwave. For the money its a great purchase.

This is the 3rd same microwave I bought in 5 years and so far, each has lasted a little over 2 years. I bought the same one because the entire kitchen is in this Whirlpool series and I wanted the microwave fitment without any modifications. Also, the price for this microwave is low so I get what i paid for. The microwave's magnetron tube would died each time.
