We bought this microwave to match our other appliances that are stainless steel and black. We love how it matches and it works great. It is easy to operate and the children have no problem using it to heat up left overs!

Had this shipped to store TWICE, as it wasn't sold in local best buy, was damaged both times; best buy would do nothing over the phone.. I had to drive back to the store each time the microwave was delivered damaged.. and the nearest store is 45 minutes one way (Finally just went in for a refund and found this same microwave at Lowes undamaged). Annoyed! Best buy had this "Oh well" attitude about it all. I will NEVER shop at best buy again. But I digress, the microwave itself is fine; and it's a Whirlpool so should last awhile. Disappointed as the photos show a GREY interior, but what you actually get is a WHITE interior. Not happy about that, I would have been willing to pay more for a grey interior model. but for the price I recommend it.

i bought this unit because the LG microwave that I had died after 4 or so years of heavy use (family of 5 constantly heating up quick snacks/meals). I bought this because for two reasons - the first being a great price ($205), and the second being it was literally the only one in stock at either of the Best Buy's within 75 miles of my home. I bought it online and drove to the store two days later to pick it up. I installed it today (the same as any other over the stove microwave) and everything works as it should. What more could you ask for, except a lower price, free delivery and someone else to install it, and oh yeah, haul the old one away!

Well, I guess I could say I really like this microwave. It works well, heats everything up real fast, and the styling is very nice. We've had it for a while now, and the only thing negative I have to say is that sometimes the fan will turn on for no reason when you're using it, and everything will lock up on the microwave, and you have to unplug it (which is a pain, since our plug is in the cabinet above it, and behind some stuff). We are buying a new house sans appliances, and I will say we are going to buy this microwave again, simply because we like the other whirlpool appliances, and this matches them. Hopefully our first one was just a dud, and the next one won't have the same problem.

As part of our stainless appliance kitchen design, we purchased this microwave oven. This is the first circulating venting system in our kitchen - the vent blows above the oven which didn't really do us any favor (it greases up the new cabinetry above and around# - we ended up using our industrial size attic venting to draw out the cooking smoke. We are still new owners yet but so far, the heating is not very impressive. For the capacity of the equipment that has a higher price tag, it doesn't heat up as fast as my 1-year-old LG stand alone countertop microwave oven. So the primary reason we purchased this eqiupment was to vent #not really working out well# and quick heating #yet to be determined) - the only saving grace is that it has two-tiered lighting that are good for night light. If you are going to use them for cooking light, don't. Having a hard time registering the product on Whirlpool website.

I've been using this microwave for about 6 months now and it's been working fantastic! Looks really nice and matches our stainless steel range very well.

Works good as a replacement for the one installed when we purchased our home. REALLY wish the light was a bit more forward instead of all the way at the back, makes the light almost worthless to use for cooking light.

Use it for a rental property, so I can't attest on the functions, but the stainless steel design looks great and the price is good.

After research, this microwave was a price and customer review driven purchase. It is replacing a 3 to 4 year old (more than twice the price) Samsung, which replaced another that didn't owe me a penny. Since products seem to be of cheaper quality all the time, it's good for now, but only time will tell. If I get two years out of it, it will end up being cheaper (per year) than the Samsung. Sad, when you purchase with a death date in mind...ha,ha.

Needed a black basic microwave and this fit perfect. Installation took a bit of time but once placed, it worked great. Would recommend this microwave

I love my new microwave.I was looking for a sleek design to match my new refrigerator. I needed a countertop microwave but I did not like the look of the countertop models. I use this model as a countertop and not above the range, it fits perfectly on my countertop, so I eliminated the need to have it installed. I just took it out of the box and placed it on my counter and woo hoo it is superb!! I did my research before selecting this model and I am very happy with my choice.

Matches my Whirlpool Convection Gas Range exactly. Works great and is easy for my kids to use. Would highly recommend.

This was installed in a kitchen remodel and was bought to match the whirlpool range. In our previous house we had a samsung, and this whirlpool is about the same price, but functions much better. Light is good, fan works well and buttons are easy to read and hit (love the 30 second button). Would recommend

We've had this microwave for about a year. It looks good and does the job. The settings are pretty standard and easy to use. The fan kicks on if the range / oven gets too hot, but it doesn't happen too often. (It could be our range which burns rather hot.) We're very happy with this unit and would recommend it.

These over the stove units are difficult to install - must have two people. This particular micro is pretty and heats quickly, etc, but the door is picky - it must be shut exactly evenly or the light and power don't work

Easy to use, easy to clean, and has lots of great options. Just enough options to meet your needs without being over the top or overly expensive. Even though we have recirculating ventilation, this microwave does the trick.

I bought this to replace my old microwave that only worked about half the time. It's a little bigger than the old one, but works well, and has lots of space inside. It's also easy to keep clean. Haven't encountered any issues yet.
