Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this from BestBuy 4 yrs/8mos ago and suddenly we get the dreaded F1E4 error code on the display. The lights are on but the turntable still revolves even with the door open. And the control panel won't respond at all except for the fan switch. Whirlpool online support says try unplugging or turning off at the circuit breaker for a few minutes and turning it back on. I did a few times. But same result each time. Apparently that means the (made in China) circuit board needs repair or replaced. Online parts dealer says $275 plus shipping for a new circuit board. We were in the process of replacing our 20+ year old electric range, dishwasher and refrigerator all at the same time. Now we add an over-the-range microwave to the list but we WILL NOT buy another Whirlpool appliance. This is also after replacing a Whirlpool dishwasher rack with a (made in China) Whirlpool branded rack ordered from Amazon. The vinyl coating on the tines started cracking less than a year into use and now 13 months later, the cracked parts are 'pealed' and the tines and bars are all rusted. So quality control must not be important at Whirlpool and all of its brand (Amana, Frigidaire, KitchenAid etc.).
