We replaced a 14 year old whirlpool with this one. For the money , it was a great deal. I installed the same model for my in-laws about a year ago, so I knew what I was getting. It has all of the basic features we need. IMHO, any features beyond what this microwave has are just gimmicks. Really think about how you use a microwave. We just warm up stuff and cook a potato every now and again. I say, it is a tad louder when cooking than my last one, but it's not like it is running for an hour at a time, so no big deal.

Had a Samsung that kicked the bucket. This model showed up on Google as the most popular model currently (based on purchasing/search trends and whatnot) so, like a lemming, I figured I'd go with the flow. Thankfully, this seems to have been a good call. The microwave installed relatively easily, and aside from being a tad larger (top to bottom and front to back. Side to side they're all basically the same size), it seems to fill our mutating/microwaving needs perfectly. It is quiet during operation, and has enough room to nuke a medium sized turkey (if one were so inclined). Only note is that the first one I picked up in store had a massive dent in the top rear corner (right side if looking from the front) and since that side of my microwave is exposed in the kitchen, I had to bring it back in for an exchange. The second model also had a dent in that location, though far smaller so I just accepted the blemish. Thing is, they're so heavily packaged, there is no way to check this while in store. These dents must occur at the manufacturing end, then they cover them up with big foam pads and whatnot. Doesn't seem to affect performance at all, but if you have any exposed sides to the unit in your kitchen, you may need to be extra diligent in checking it before installing it. Anyhow, overall I'm quite pleased!

A nice looking appliance that functions quite nicely. No extraneous bells and whistles.Simple and does a good job on reheating .

It's installed easily and is a great microwave for the money with the features we wanted.

This OTR microwave is very simple to use and is very quiet when in operation. All the features are easy to use. Highly recommended.

This unit fit the bill perfectly. It was a scratch and dent offer. on side so it doesn't even show. very pleased with the unit

tainless steel means it pretty much goes in any kitchen and 1.7 cubic feet means u can really cook in it

I really like this microwave and expect it to continue to do very well. It looks great to me and my family loves it. I gave 4 stars because it arrived dinged up and also it is missing the turn table stop feature that our last microwave had... Best buy gave me an extra discount for the ding and you cant really see it once installed. The installers did great, i'm glad I hired them. It really is a very nice microwave after more than a month of use.

We purchased a magic chef from HD that stopped working after 27 days. When we returned it, they didnt have much else in stock. They had this Whirlpool at $249 but not in stock. Lowes was even higher at $279 and no one seemed to want to sell anything. We hit Best Buy when we remembered how well they treated us on our Fridge purchase. Glad we did, at $ 199 it waa a deal. Good unit, matches our stove. Roomy, and cooks well. Very quiet. It lacks a few quick functions, still dont know how to defrost proper and there is no soften feature quick press. Also, long pressing 1-5 isn't a quick route to 1 min etc. But all in all, it does what it`s supposed to do, looks great and what a deal

This is a good, simple oven. It was easy to install and has been easy to use. The price was great.

I researched over the range microwaves quite a bit before settling on this one. The installer through Best Buy mentioned that Whirlpool microwaves have few repair calls. Said brand is really solid. I liked to hear that! This was a great price and a little more roomy than the microwave it replaced. Nice turntable & quiet. I like the easy to use push buttons and the Clock color doesn't bother me a bit. It's bright, but is not a nuisance. I like it. I like the "add 30 sec" button when you have a quick cup of coffee to reheat or you can keep pushing it if you are too lazy to enter the time. I was concerned because this microwave was going to be an inch and half deeper and an inch taller, but it doesn't look awkward over the stove at all. Very smooth looking. Great deal at an affordable price.

I really like this microwave glad I purchased it I had to move my cupboard over about a inch because the microwave door was just a little bit hanging over and would not open properly...the measurements were exactly the minimum but it worked out.....so give that consideration when measuring for that ..but im happy with the way it turned out...

This product has a great look to it and is easy to clean. Also the settings keypad is easy to use.
