The microwave smelled very bad when I first opened the box and it has continued to put off a very bad smell!! The quality is very low as to be expected from anything made in China!!

So first know that there isn't no timer on this microwave. Seems silly not to have one. Also, after installing this and using it a few times, it takes longer than normal to heat up. What would normally take one minute on my old microwave (or anyone else's) it takes two minutes on this one. We removed the inner rack to see if it made a difference and it didn't. Unfortunately, once this is installed, I didn't want to uninstall it and drag it back to the store. Not worth the hassle.

Could benefit from a few more features, but that would mean a lot more $$ and put it into the price range of some of those nearly double the price.

This microwave oven works fine. After using it frequently though, the glass tray makes a clicking sound when in use.

Replaced this microwave after just two years. The door sensor was broken and the microwave would not start.

Took Best Buy one month & 2 days to install my microwave oven which actually took less than 15 minutes in my home.

Little difficulty with installation given fasteners were loose from factory. Unit completes the task

This over the range microwave does the job, but there's not many bells and whistles.

This microwave cooks very fast and is quite unlike my GE that I replaced with this one

it is ok for what we paid, works ok, would rather have paid more for a better one

I don't understand why Whirlpool would spend all of this money to try to repair it and have a very frustrated unhappy customer when it would have been better customer service and Much cheaper to simply replace it. I have had many whirlpool appliances through the years and have always been happy.......until Now!! I have had this non-working microwave in my home now for almost a month and have yet to be able to use it!!

Microwave cane with a dent. Best buy would not take it back.

Although it seems to be of very good quality, I dont use it because there is no instruction booklet on how to cook food. the only explanation is numbers. You have to figure it out yourself and its not very easy to figure out.

Turn table was inop. Best Buy did their best to quickly make things right.

We got this microwave to replace our previous over-the-range microwave, which was no longer working. This microwave is simple to operate, looks great (ours is the white model), and heats food evenly. It doesn't have a lot of fancy features, and it's not going to be large enough for this year's Thanksgiving turkey, but I didn't expect any of that from the least expensive microwave in Whirlpool's range. It does its job of reheating leftovers, softening/melting butter, and heating other various food/drink items very well. Time will tell if it lasts as long as our previous microwave (12 years), but so far, so good. If I had to pick one nit, it would be that the display's vivid blue color is a bit too bright.
