The control panel broke after less than a year and a half. A appliance repairman said a repair would be around $250 - more than the microwave cost brand new, and that new microwaves are made cheap. I'll go with Samsung or Amana for replacement.

After we installed it we noticed a dent in the door.

This microwave had a door latch issue. In order to get it to work you had to open and shut it over dnd over again until it finally worked. Struggled with this for two years.

Great value on this microwave. It is super easy to navigate. All buttons are very intuitive. It was bigger (height) than our old fridge, which was something we didn't consider prior to buying. So, make sure you measure length, width, height, and depth prior to installing. We actually love this micro better than our old microwave. It looks better in the space over our stove.

With damage and all trouble Best Buy did not want to help me ... I had to call another Best Buy and that manger took care of me !

When I called Whirpool they said cosmetic issues are not cover. I guess you get what you pay for.

went to pick it up at store, dented. Ordered a new one has yet to show. Not too impressed.

great microwave the price was good and works well ..This was the second, the first had a bad heating element and i did not find out until after I mounted it above the stove...all power and clock worked when I plugged it in just wouldnt heat anything..But I did not have any problem exchanging it for the one I have now..so alls good to go.

This is the 3rd time in 20 years that I have replaced the kitchen over-the-range microwave (more like original and 2 replacements). Per usual, the mounting holes (rear and top) moved from prior installations, so re-drilling of holes in sheet rock and cabinet for securing oven to wall may be required. Seems every couple of years, they have to move the holes to keep it interesting for the installer. Beyond that install issue however, I must say, I'm very pleased with the unit, very glad I chose the stainless (vs the black or white), quite surprised how quiet it is for both the microwave fan and the hood/exhaust fan, The exhaust fan is powerful, moves air, sucks the steam off a boiling pot of pasta.

This microwave is large enough for most items and very easy to use touch screen. I am very happy with whirlpool brand. I hope you enjoy this product as much as I do. Fairly easy to install - looks great, easy to clean, and I especially like the pre set features. Also heats food quicker than expected. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

First off the second photo on this page is Not the microwave you will get its white inside. It's a basic microwave and does the job. Went in easy. Is light weight. Just put the real photos of the real product only part I'm not happy about. We look at a higher price model that had that gray inside and that was nice.

We replaced our 7 year old GE Space saver with this oven. It is slightly bigger but still fits in the space. It comes little lower over the range. Last week we got surprise, over the range exaust fan got turned on automatically when a pot got too hot. It had water and all the water evaporated. Later once range got cooler fan stopped automatically. Nice feature! Rest of the oven is same as GE space saver except one touch bottons for 1,2 or 3 minute heating.

Great microwave - over my new Whirpool range!! Could not pass up this microwave at such a great price when having to replace 15 year old range!! Old one worked fine but at such a great price, both pieces match!! Very happy!!

The microwave does what it should and it works great. However, I have had two issues. The first one was the plate. It showed up delivered to me in about 7 sharp pieces of broken glass. My other issue was the mounting wall bracket or how it mounted to my wall in general. I have like a half inch gap behind it and I can feel the outside air coming in. I have tucked some insulation around the outside to help with this issue but that doesn't help with appearance. Can still see a gap behind it. Yes some of it is due to my cabinets but my old microwave didn't have this issue. It fit much tighter to the wall.

I received this unit a week ago. I noticed that it was shipped with a styrofoam bottom and cardboard top and shrink wrapped around the center. Not very good to be shipped so unprotected! Nothing looked damaged or out of place so I assumed all was right. Well when I took off the shrinkwrap sure enough there were 2 dents on the unportected rear corners of the unit. Ok I can live with that. Then I began the mounting procedure. (This was the 6th microwave I've ever installed, so I know what I'm doing# and I followed all directions exactly. Well for some reason the top template required me to drill mounting holes, but the right hole would not align. I had to do it the old fashioned way. #Measure twice, drill once.) So far the unit looks and works great. I will repost here again in 1 year and again in 2 years. The only reason I did not give 5 stars on the quality is because of the template error. If quality was poor enough to have errors on the template, there's no telling what quality issues will arise on the build quality. Only time will tell. Now to the good part, The unit has a timer, this is a great plus going for it. It is remarkably quiet even with the fan on high. It has a handle instead of a pushbutton and it looks great. and one last point. The work light is really a light when on high and a night light when on low. I really like this unit and would not think twice about purchasing it again. I would just buy it in the store instead of having it shipped.

Just as described. It is quite and easy to operate. The size is just right for us. We love this oven!!

I got an entire Whirlpool appliance set and this is the microwave I chose only for the purposes of "matching" but it's a great microwave, especially for the price.

I ordered this microwave to replace the one I had. It fitted perfectly on the existing frame, so installing it was a breeze. It works smoothly and happy so far.
