For the price, this is a good microwave. I don't use it for anything more than warming up stuff for the kids. It's pretty quiet, easy to use and there isn't a lot of "extras" which is fine by me. There is no inner rack which I also prefer since I have always removed that from any subsequent microwaves. As far as installation, I didn't do it myself, but had a handyman do it and he didn't have a problem - it probably only took him about 30 min to take the old microwave out and install this one.

Have had 2 months now. Solid, simple, easy to install if you carefully measure and follow the directions. Works great for all we need! Looks nice! The blue clock light is a little too bright however. Wish we could adjust that down. Otherwise a great unit for the price.

You can certainly purchase a microwave with more bells and whistles, but considering the way we use one, this unit is quite adequate. Installation instructions were straightforward and easy to follow.

This was a good value. I needed something to put in a rental unit that was stainless and this fit the bill perfectly. Buying refurbished/open box/scratch and dent is a great way to save some money!

It is speak looking was easy to install and works great. I love that you can turn the fan to a mode that it will kick on when you are cooking and turn off when your done. A great value for the price!

Replaced my old Bisque Kitchen Aid with this unit. My old KA carousel went side to side instead of just rotating like this one, but other than that, this one is much quieter and seems more powerful. Also looks great with our other new WP Gold SS matched pieces.

I just received it. Great looking and I am glad I bought Geek Squad protection for 5 years. Fan doesn't work that well. I hope this changes with time. Instructions on use are poorly written. No detail about features other than naming them.

Easy to install if you have any do it yourself skills, though it helps to have a friend lift it onto the mounting plate with you. Microwave works as expected. Happy with this product so far.

Installation was a bit difficult, but not overly so. My advice for DIYers; mark hole locations with a measuring tape and a level rather than with the templates provided. The wall template is sloppy and the one for overhead is useless except to show dimensions. The unit looks very nice in the kitchen. The little Whirlpool emblem that mars and otherwise elegant appearance is glued on and can be removed with careful use of a razor blade. The main thing, I suppose, is the unit cooks food without requiring serious programming skills, in spite of all the buttons on the front. It is a pleasure to use.

The microwave looks great and works fine. I was worried about the fingerprints because we previously had a white microwave. But, I hardly notice them. Easy to clean and easy to install.

This is a fine microwave. It was easy to install and warms our food well. The true test will be in how long it lasts. Our previous over-the-stove microwave (a Samsung) broke after about 3 years. Hopefully this one lasts longer.!

Whirlpool has really done well in the micro waves. This replaced an 1 year old Samsung, which I liked, but this is perfect. All the selections available, easy to navigate screen and menus. Cooks food evenly and spot on.

The Whirlpool over the range microwave is pretty good. The price is right and build quality is good. Looks decent and functions well. It is very quiet. Seems to cook very evenly. Defrost function works well. There are few minor gripes. Cooktop light is position way in the back so it doesn't light up the range that well. Before, I had one that had 2 lights that were well position closer to front so they lit up the cooktop very well. Also, there are no quick minute keys. My last one was setup to where the numbers represented minutes so you could quickly just push 1 for 1 minute, 2 for 2 minutes, etc. I like that feature. The installation instructions are not the best. I didn't see anywhere in the instructions that say that the wall bracket sets the microwave about 1/2" off of the wall. I would recommend doing a dry fit after installing the back plate with the template to see if it fits correctly before drilling holes in the upper cabinet. Then marking where the microwave sits when installed. At that time you can get a better estimate whether the top mount cabinet holes will line up correctly according to the template. All in all it is very solid choice and hopefully it will work for the long haul.

I love the Whirlpool four piece appliance package that I purchased at Best Buy. The Microwave, like the other appliances, really looks great in my kitchen and it works well.

Needed to replace our old one during a remodel and this fit what we were looking for. It works great, was easy enough to install, and I can't imagine any other features I'd care to pay more for.

Bought this for my mother in law who still had a countertop microwave. She loves the new unit. Affordable unit as well since she has no need for convection level units. Installed it myself with no trouble.

I got this microwave at a big discount. So lucked out there. The stainless steel finish is superior. Huge 17 cu ft ensures that you can easily heat big items. Standard features & easy to use.

This is my first stainless steel fridge and I love it! It was perfect for the space, value, and look it gives the kitchen!!!

We love this microwave. We bought one for our first house and this one again for our second because it's really easy to use and all around a great buy! We never had problems like we have with counter units.
