    The dark interior makes it difficult to see what is happening as compared to a light interior. It is very noisy compared to our previous Whirlpool Microwave -- sounds like it is grinding coffee. It is bigger than the old one by just enough that made putting up the new one cost us more in installation than the microwave itself.

    This microwave is pretty basic. The only thing im not happy with is the clock dims when not in use.

    We've had over the range microwave for the 30 years we have lived in this house. The last one was a GE that only managed to last 3 years. GE should be ashamed. But we replaced it with this Whirlpool. This is huge, somehow so much bigger than any other we've had. When installed there was less than 15" clearance from the bottom to the stovetop. We returned it for a Samsung.

    Works great. Just with it had a stainless steel bottom on the microwave for easier cleaning from when using the stove. But works well & good look over all
