The only issue with the microwave is the 100% heat time is lesser then my older microwave. Meaning it doesn't heat food up as quick as the old microwave due to some new technology. Plates and bowls still get hot so that's not the issue. Black stainless steel is nice but they made handle regular stainless steel? Good microwave though for the money.

Purchased old appliances with all new Whirlpool. I like the features of this unit but the first microwave died within the first year and was covered under warrantee. The replacement lasted 4 years. So if you like disposable microwaves this is the unit for you. Replaced the Whirlpool fridge 3 times before I got one that worked.

I bought a Whirlpool over-the-range microwave 7 months ago, and it’s already having serious issues. Grease somehow got into the internal components and caused damage. When the technician came to inspect it, he couldn’t even explain how it happened, but despite that, Whirlpool refused to cover the repair under warranty. This is a venting microwave, yet it clearly isn’t built to handle normal cooking conditions. Imagine if this were a washing machine and water leaked into the control board, and the manufacturer just shrugged it off as “normal use.” That’s basically what Whirlpool is doing here. I expected better quality and accountability from a brand like this. If a microwave can't even make it through a year of average use, there's a serious design flaw. Worst part is that they try to dodge the issue by blaming everything else, that's a product I can't recommend.

My last microwave was from 2005, so this unit has many more options. The shelf that allows multiple items to be heated at the same time is an excellent upgrade and timesaver. I noticed that the popcorn button runs approximately 10-15 second too long and I have to stop the unit before the time is up. Otherwise, no issues with the unit.

One touch buttons work great. No fingerprints. Easy to clean.

Works well, except not sure how to easily defrost bread. No express time cook buttons. Other buttons are excellent. Looks good,
