I had to switch from counter microwave to over range when remodeled the kitchen. Has nice features but does not seam to heat as quickly as my sharp counter microwave. other than that its just fine.

I got this microwave as a replacement for another microwave I really liked that died on me. It has been about 2 months since I got this microwave and its already making a grinding noise. At first I thought it was the turntable but the noise is coming from the top of the microwave. Since its a microwave, you start to wonder is this noise ok, is it just going to grind to a halt, it's still safe to use right? I would not get this model, and honestly, think I have had enough or whirlpool and go to a different brand.

The microwave itself is fine but boy is it loud! Everything you do on or with it is loud. But otherwise it was a good purchase. Thank you

DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!! power of this unit is lacking, even though it is a 1000watt microwave. My wife and i are the only people in the home, no kids at home. So, that being said, this microwave has seen below average use. my wife went to heat up some soup, she came back into kitchen and smelt a bad gas type smell. she open microwave and after 2 minutes soup was still cold. The smell was so bad she had to open a window. i am a technician for 30years, and this is a poorly built product that dies after minimal use , just after a year. my last microwave a, GE, was 15 years old and still working when i took it out. Now i am worried about all the other whirlpool products i purchased. then i have to go out and spend another 300 plus to replace it. If any way possible , that i can match it, i wont buy another whirlpool.

catch on fire only after 3 years. Smoked filled our kitchen. I loved the microwave but all our micowaves lasted longer and of course our warranty was only for 3 years. All we could buy

Excellent Microwave - easy to install and does everything we need.

I had to replace my existing Samsung over the stove microwave, so I figured I'd buy American. The Whirlpool model was approximately the same size and reasonably priced. I purchased it, had the old microwave removed and the new one installed. After everything was set the installer plugged it in and it didn't work! Now, I'm still without a microwave until another can be ordered (about 5 days), but it'll cost me ANOTHER INSTALLATION FEE when the replacement arrives. I'll give whirlpool one more chance, but fool me twice shame on me.

In November 2023 already started having problems. Light doesnt work. Would never buy again. Wish i stuck with my gut amd got Bosch

stopped working after a few months, I'm going to reach out to customer service but it is a first time a microwave stop working after a short time.

Has not been installed due to missing parts. No one has called to rectify the issue. Plan to return everything. Not happy with service

It’s functional, pretty basic, takes a little to figure out how to use the timer and cook at the same time.

just installing it today. discovered a cross threaded bolt on the back of microwave that prevented us from hanging it. Installer had to take the cabinet off and replace a nut so the bolt would actually anchor into it. Very very disappointing. Should have returned it but already 90% into hanging the darn thing.

There were cosmetics issues with the microwave. The outer sheets was not attached correctly. Did not notice until I hung it to wall

My wife picked this out. It was easy to install. Its a good microwave but I feel it was over priced for the brand.

So much for American made, Union shop. Whirlpool does not stand behind their products AT ALL. This microwave is not even 2 years old & has already stopped heating anything. You can’t expect consumers to buy American if the product is junk. I’ve had my Samsung appliances for 15 years and the only issue was a burned out light. All whirlpool will offer is 20% off a future purchase. Why would I buy more garbage?!?!?

Whirlpool is one of the best products in the world.This microwave is no exception.5 stars all the way

Lots of moisture inside after heating food. Have to leave door open to air dry. No way to turn off sensor. Regret this purchase.
