To start, I thought I purchased this from Best Buy. I was in the store but it seems that Best Buy has an agreement with a third party appliance retailer. They took the Best Buy gift card as part of the payment but I got no credit on the My Best Buy program. The retailer did not stand by the customer when the refrigerator did not work properly. They just passed me off to Whirlpool. The refrigerator was over-cooling. Whirlpool sent the contracted repair person out. The repair person decided he needed parts and arranged to come again. On the second visit, the repair person replaced one part and broke three others. Problem not fixed. We had a dozen eggs that froze and broke. Called Whirlpool and explained the problem and asked they not send the same repair company. Second repair person decided to replace the same part as the first and replace the three things the first repair person broke. Called the repair company a few days later, I was informed the parts were not in yet. Called Whirlpool, they said they would expedite shipping. The repair company never called to reschedule. After a while we called them. They changed the part and replaced the other three parts. Problem not fixed. The repair person suggested we ask Whirlpool for a replacement. Called Whirlpool, they would not replace the refrigerator until the repair person declared the refrigerator unrepairable. Called the repair company and they said they sent a note to Whirlpool saying so. Called Whirlpool who said it was another department. Whirlpool told us they will review the claim and get back to us. Waited a week with nothing from Whirlpool. Called Whirlpool to inquire about the status of the claim, was informed the claim was rejected. Whirlpool said they would send the repair person out again and the repair person had to call Whirlpool engineering to discuss when on site. Whirlpool engineering’s suggestion was to turn freezer control to maximum cooling and the refrigerator section to minimum cooling. The freezer section got warmer and the refrigerator section was still freezing food. Called Whirlpool again, told them that the time off from work to deal with the service calls could have paid for a new refrigerator. They wanted the repair person to come out one more time. After five and a half months and six service calls, we got a replacement refrigerator. The reason we bought the refrigerator to begin with was to replace an old refrigerator that need constant defrosting and this was the right size and we thought the brand was good. I do not plan to ever buy another Whirlpool branded product. One other thing, the freezer did not have a shelf included. It has the tracks to put one in but Whirlpool does not sell the shelf as an accessory.

Even on the warmest setting possible, it was 28 degrees in the refrigerator compartment. It froze everything. I returned it for a refund.

This particular refrigerator did not function properly from the very first day and I returned it.

Been waiting two weeks now to get my item haven't heard anything except that it will be September 28th before I get product

I had to replace after only one year. It was very small.

I'm very happy with this Whirlpool refrigerator. It fits great in my NYC apartment, and is perfect for a single person household. Has just the right amount of space I need. It actually fits more than I expected. It also comes with a little ice cube tray. The shelves are removable for easy cleaning. I plugged it in, and after a few minutes, my groceries were nice and cold. I don't really hear it working at all. I definitely recommend it.

This fridge is very convenient for a single person or a small quantity of items. You can definitely hear when the compressor kicks on but it's not anything unusual. I do wish the freezer had a full shelf instead of half of one but I can make do without.

I recently purchased the igloo 10.0 fridge which was a great price and worked well but ice sheets building up in fridge and coming home to it off the first wk or so made me feel iffy about the longevity of it so I returned it for this one. This fridge was close to double the price but it was well worth it, this fridge looks a lot better its wider and deeper and looks like an actual home fridge. It Got cold very fast and has had a perfect temperature the whole time. I guess you get what you pay for so I'm very happy with this fridge will recommend to anybody that shops for 2 ppl. Only thing I did not like is it did not come with a freezer rack so you kinda have to pile everything on top of each other don't know if mine just didn't come with one or if youre supposed to purchased that separate.

This is a decent Whirlpool refrigerator for me as my doorways are very narrow. The fridge and freezer are just fine. A full horizontal shelf is NOT provided for freezer. There is a place (left and right shoulders of freezer wall) in the freezer for a full horizontal shelf, but Whirlpool did not provide a shelf. Odd design for freezer! I purchased a Frigidaire shelf for the Whirlpool freezer. The model # is 218298004 by Frigidaire.

The 'frig is ok but the doors are very thick and the hinges are set back on the door. This means when the door opens you will need about 2 inches fee space on the hinge side. You also CAN NOT move the hinges to the leftside, the doors won't seal properly (I tried it). I wish I had bought the Haier, Magic Chef, Avanti 9.2 cu ft bottom 'frig

After a few months the freezer section started frosting badly and the fridge started making a loud rattling noise. The approved Whirlpool technicians came out several times and finally replaced part of the motor. Almost a year later the same problem. The freezer section was full of frost and the lower section of the fridge started over cooling and many of my foods froze and glass containers even froze and cracked. Same loud noises from the motor. Service technicians came back again and said that I needed a different part even though it was the same problem. At this point, they said my warranty was over and I would have to pay to repair the fridge and the cost would be more than half of what I paid for the fridge. After reading the reviews it looks like this problem has happened with other people. Very disappointed in this product. Will not buy Whirlpool again.

Renovating my very 1st apt, I began shopping around for good all around small scale appliances. The Whirlpool fit the description exactly. It fits into a small corner, has enough space for 2-3people. The only problem I had was the 1st would not get cold, lucky me bestbuy has great service and a good turn around time. Everything went really smooth from both deliveries, the return, installations and service.

The is the perfect size for a small office space with a few employees. Or it would be great in a small apartment or studio. It looks good and has plenty of space for items. It's like supper sized mini refrigerator.

I have a small, very limited space of 25.5" for a refrigerator with the wall on one side. Finding a refrigerator has been a hassle. This was my 2nd attempt. I chose this based on an online spec measurement of 24" width. I could not verify at a store because this model is not stocked anywhere locally. I had to trust the specs which are technically correct - it is 24" wide when the doors are closed. However, the hinge design causes the doors to add another 2.5" to the width required for this to fit. If the refrigerator is up against a wall the doors will hit the wall and not open. If the refrigerator is between cabinets, then you'll need to make sure the depth is ok to clear the cabinet and countertop. Maybe then it would work. Thankfully the delivery guys measured this right on the truck's platform and confirmed it would not work unless I removed my upper cabinets (no). The frig looked nice from the exterior as far as the stainless steel veneer. Most of these small refrigerators look cheap because they probably are. This one looked better on the exterior than most. Can't comment on interior or other features as it was fully shrinkwrapped. I am rating this low because no one at Best Buy could answer this measurement issue for me online and I called a few stores too. Instead of a solid answer, I have to buy it, refuse it, get credited (which messes up my financing time and Black Friday sales price), and now order it tomorrow after I'm credited...then reschedule a second delivery (another morning off of work). Simple fix: add a spec line that specifies width and depth with doors open at 90 degrees or stock it in stores so associates can help customers with that question. My delivery guys were great with the other half of my appliance order though.

The compressor is on 70% of the time and when the compressor is running, it is so loud. I returned it and changed to LG LTCS20220S after looking at the review from consumer report. The LG fridge is much much much more quiet than this whirlpool one. Even when the LG fridge compressor is running, it is so quiet that you won't notice it is running. In addition, 90% of the time, LG fridge compressor is not running, so totally silent. I bought this whirlpool fridge because it is narrow but if you live in a studio and will be sleeping not far from the fridge, don't buy this one.

This is an awful fridge. We bought it in March and it's already broken. The fridge makes a terrible noise and does not get cold anymore. The fridge is far to small for a couple. Stay away if you like to cook. We had to buy a new fridge this past weekend.

It served its purpose while it lasted. Items in the back on the top shelf of the refrigerator would freeze, but that wasn't too big an issue for us. The freezer is still going strong, but the refrigerator stopped cooling suddenly after less than three years. I expect an appliance to last longer...

I like this refrigerator okay. Once I got it home, I realized that it was much smaller than I thought it would be, so I was a little disappointed. As time has gone on, I realize it freezes food, even when the temp is set where it should be. So, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but it does the job it's supposed to do, which is keep food cold.

WOWSERS!!!!! Best appliance purchase I have ever made, beautiful, affordable, well equipped and quiet, extremely well packaged for transport and delivery, super fast delivery time, and the delivery service was excellent. The refrigerator gets cold really fast too!!!. I will make all future appliance purchases with Best Buy!!! Kudos to them. I highly recommend this product!
