As an Android user for many years, I moved to the XR because I was having trouble connecting to Auto Android as well as wishing to use Facetime with my son in the Marines. The switch was not difficult though I did get help from friends who used Iphones. I still prefer Auto Android to Apple Carplay, but Apple works, Android didn't. As far as functionality, the XR works as advertised and in some cases is easier to work with than the Android. I prefer Google Maps to Apple Maps, but the XR allows me to use Google Maps. Instead of Apple Music, I'm allowed to use Amazon Music, which is good since that's where I've purchased all the music I own, and I don't have to pay Apple $10.00 to use their music. Overall, once you know the ins and outs of the system, the XR is a very good system.

I originally purchased the XS, knowing the XR was coming out soon. At the time I couldn't wait. After living with the XS for a while, I realized that the phone, though great, was not worth the steep price. (I paid the same for my 256 XS that I have for iMac's recently.). So I immediately checked the XR out when it hit stores. Honestly, the only feature I miss is the second camera. The one camera is great, I just take a step closer, and all the other specs match it or beat it for my money. In the end I saved $450 including tax for my overall purchase, and couldn't be happier, and still have the same chip. Oh, and my screen is a little bigger.

My wife bought the iPhone XS Max and I bought the XR. For about $350 less, I think it’s as good if not better than her iPhone. We are both heavy iPhone users, by the end of the day she has about 20 to 25% battery life left on her XS Max but my XR always have 50% or more battery life. Now we compared our iPhone camera photos during our vacation. My XR was as good as my wife’s XS Max except for zooming in on distance objects. I don’t think the 2x zoom on XS Max worth an extra $350. I would recommend the XR over the XS or XS Max.

I've always used Samsung Android phones since my 1st smartphone, I was happy with them but always felt that there was something better. I finally took the plunge and bought this iPhone XR. It's small in size but the screen is big, I love the camera and even though there is a little to learn with the new iOS, I feel at home with this phone. I also like the new on-screen home button instead of the physical home button. Overall I love this new phone and would highly recommend it!!

Purchased this to replace my older 6S. The speed and quality of the screen are greatly improved. The battery life is beyond my expectations. I had an issued with battery life when I turned on "Enable Dictation". The Tech at the Apple store performed a settings reset that solved the problem. We assume there was an issue when I restored the phone from the 6S backup. I can now go for several days until I need to charge it.

Wife upgraded from 6 to XR and its a HUGE upgrade in quality and speed. Apple always pulls out all the stops in terms of quality. iOS software is always miles ahead of any other phone software. Some other phones may have a few gimmicks but when theyre not using iOS software that diminishes any “perk” that the other phones have to offer. Will always choose Apple over anyone else!

The sacrifices made for pricing on the XR is totally worth it. Especially if you are upgrading a phone for a teenager. My daughter went from an iphone 7 to an iPhone XR. If you are upgrading from an older model iPhone like the 7, they will love this as it's a big jump forward for a very good price. Phone also comes in more colors.

Bought this phone for my wife and she loves everything about it. She is coming from the iPhone 6 so this was a nice upgrade. This definitely doesn’t feel like a budget phone at all. Very nice feeling in the hand. Super fast at all tasks. Screen quality is great... much better than people would have you believe. Have no complaints.

I bought the iPhone XR from Colleen at the Melbourne store and she was very helpful at getting the phone set up. She transferred the data and answered all my questions, very good experience! The iPhone is amazing it just took a bit to get use to due to no home screen but much faster than my 7+ and I like the 128 g of storage.

Great phone and great service. I purchased some accessories for the phone at the time I purchased the phone. The Best Buy associate put them all on for me before I even left the store. This included a case and screen protector. The phone was a gift, so it was nice to hand the recipient a "finished product" if you will.

Ended up going this route instead of the XS version. I looked at them side by side and could not tell the difference in the screen output. The other difference was the camera but for the price on this version I decided I did not need to have the tele lens on the Xs version. So far I would recommend.

I just bought the new iPhone Xr. I was dreading changing phones (from my old iPhone 6 to the new one) and procrastinated a couple of days , but the transfer was super easy. The phone basically did everything by itself! So much better than I had expected. I should have started sooner!

Apple hasn’t changed things up since the iPhone 5. It’s a good phone but the basic functions are the same as my iPhone 6. Not really worth the $900 price tag, but it’s nice to not see the “storage full” icon anymore. The wireless charging function is awesome, but that’s the same with the iPhone 8. The no home button is weird because it’s a swipe instead of a click. I think Samsung got that right with having a home button in the home button spot.

So I purchased 2, each for my kids then I decided I need to upgrade. No home button and it takes some getting used to. I like the size of it and the screen is really nice. It’s another iPhone. It just cost more than the last one I bought.

This is the best phone i've had so far. I got the phone because of the size and color. It works great, I've had no problems with it and the battery life is amazing. I can go 2 days without charging it and I use it a lot.

Was a gift to replace my father's ageing iPhone 5. He has to get used to not having a home button now. Great battery and wireless charging is awesome. He didn't need dual camera or the advanced display. He just needs the battery life. The XR is perfect for him. -1 star because iPhones are outrageously expensive but still a great phone and the best value for the current iPhone lineup.

I do believe this is a great deal for one of the newer phones. However, I had to switch my phone out a couple of times because the lighting of the screen looked like it was uneven. I’m not sure if it’s just the batch of phones mine was from or if others are this way too. I would definitely be sure to use the phone a lot during those first two weeks in case you need to exchange it.

I upgraded from an iPhone 6s. Didn’t take long to get used to the few differences they have changed, like no home button. I’ve enjoyed the bigger screen, better camera and speed. I would recommend this phone.

I bought this phone for my daughter for her 15th birthday and she absolutely loves it. The part she loves most is the face recognition technology, so her phone is easy to open. It's nice also that it is 128GB.

I upgraded from a 6s and am very satisfied. The camera is awesome, the pictures are perfect! Face recognition feature is great as well. It has a very good cost x benefit ratio compared to the last models.
