    We bought this late last year before we finished our basement kitchen. It sat wrapped in plastic for 9 months while we dealt with Covid 19 related delays. Finally in July we unwrapped it and plugged it in. I began filling the refrigerator but the freezer until last month. At first the freezer seemed to work just fine but after a month I realized the food was not 100% frozen so I turned the freezer temp lower and still nothing was 100% frozen!! This is so disappointing!!!! Seems like other reviews are stating the same issues with there product and all around the same time that we purchased this refrigerator end of 2020!!

    I was so happy to be getting this fridge until it arrived and did not work! The team members were supposed to install the fridge but they did not. Three days after receiving it, it still wasn’t getting cold and all of our food spoiled. Not to mention there was a huge dent in the back and scratch in the front. Because of how backed up stock is for refrigerators right now we wouldn’t be able to get a replacement until the end of January.

    Worked ok for a few months but now the fridge doesn't stay cold. The freezer is also TOO cold and is freezing over all my items even though I just scraped it clean last week. It was also a HUGE pain to change the way the door swings. And I'm not paying for my local technician to come fix it when I just bought it 6 months ago.

    Delivery people added more charges at the house. Still peeling crap off the outside.

    Less the a month and stop working!!!! And now what im trying to get a good refrigerator and this is what I get for almost $700 Hope this really get me some best buy costumer service and help me out.

    It will barely keep good cool not what I expected at all. Very dissapointed.. Took months to arrive as they were not in stock only to be a dissapointed...

    Never buy a whirlpool product

    We bought this refrigerator in March 22. We have had the exact same problem 4x(3x this year). Water starts to build up on the top shelve of the refrigerator. A technician comes out and takes off the back of the interior freezer. Inside it is filled with ice. Apparently the drain line clogs and this causes ice to build up inside the back of the freezer. With no where to go the water starts to drip onto the top shelve of the refrigerator. It happened this year every two month. Even though the technician assures us the problem will never come back.I called Whirlpool explaining we got a lemon and asking them to replace it. They told us they do not replace products. Period. No matter how often the sam problem occurs. They simply do not stand behind their products. I am writing this because I do not want others to have same experience. Be aware once a whirlpool product is delivered no matter what goes wrong they will not replace it.

    Stopped working after a year

    Lasted a year before dying completely. Like other reviews on here, there's no warning when the unit will just stop working forever. Now, a year later I'm scrambling to find another fridge while all my food spoils. The unit would constantly freeze over, require lengthy thaws. I hated this fridge with the constant maintenance to keep my food cold.

    Looks aren't everything - a working fridge is

    1 star is higher than I'd like to give. While this fridge has the most visual appeal in the size range my loyalty to Whirlpool ends with this appliance. There is apparently no quality control at the factory. The cooling line was bent, cracked and all coolant leaked/evaporated long before we plugged it in. Apparently the buck doesn't stop with Whirlpool. And telling me that you stand behind your products with a warranty does me no good when 10 weeks later we still have a brand new fridge sitting here that we can't even plug in. Pretty tired of the COVID excuse as well since you are still able to sell product. The rest of the world has found a way to keep plugging along. Shout out to Best Buy and the fact that they would rather help customers find a solution around defective products
