I live in a condo where the appliances are smaller than normal, and there aren't too many refrigerators out there that are no more than 30 inches wide and no taller than 67 inches to fit underneath my cabinets. There seems to be more room on the inside, and I think it's because they're making the insulation more efficient than they did 20 years ago. I know some have complained that this model seems a bit more noisy. My impression is that the noise may be a bit higher in pitch, but it certainly cycles far less often which i think is a good indication of its efficiency. I like to listen to soft music in my living area (next to the kitchen), so I installed some acoustically absorbent panels above and behind this fridge, and for about $20, this was an effective and cost-efficient solution. The ice maker really cranks out the ice, and this was a delight. Even though the front is stainless steel, the magnets still stick to it, so that's a nice little perk in contrast with my old unit. Thank you.
