Issues with freezer door hard to open and too refrig door does it close but sprays open. Will seek service assistance

Failed in less than one year. Would not recommend.

This refrigerator is not recommended for a large family freezer to small

You don't realize how small the freezer portion is until you try and stock it. The doors swing open hard and fast so make sure that they're not by a counter because it will hit. Learned to hard way.

terrible quality, the front door started to rust within a few months, leaves terrible water marks and fingerprints and the inside of the door the paneling is coming off

Poor service. Refrigerator is fine but too small. Spen' t 3 hrs, being transferred to several agents and was able to finde just what I needed. They email me there were coming with a different one that was 3 1/2 to large, so asked for someone who knew what they were doing. They sent areal nice person but all he could do was measure the space and tht's the last time I hear from them. Tried calling, but the agent was in the middle of south América. Haven't heard from them in weeks.

For a name brand, Whirlpool, it was very small and not spacious. It will be good for a small space.

Looking for just the right 30” refrigerator with a bottom freezer was a challenge. Most modern refrigerators are big and wide. All good if you have a big kitchen or can design your own. The Whirlpool is just the right fit for us, and the lighting, shelf design and freezer are all well thought out. It feels solid, and you can even put up magnets! All in all, we’re very happy so far, and should that chance, I’ll be back!

I am thrilled with the shelves on the doors because they are solid, so nothing falls out through the bottom like our previous refrigerator. Seriously, who designs a shelf that condiment bottles can slip through! We lost a little space, mostly freezer, going from a top freezer model, but I am so much happier. I don't have the problem of the freezer not closing all the way and not knowing it, the drawer always closes firmly. I have two complaints. The two drawers at the bottom of the refrigerated part have levers to change the humidity. They stick out just so, so that every time you close a drawer, it gets hung up on the lever. The lever is not that thick, so I know it will break in the very near future. My other complaint is the ice maker keeps getting ice stuck in it, so no ice gets made. I am an ice fiend, so this is unacceptable. I will be calling customer service as soon as I have time for that. I'm hoping there is a fix. In general, the only fault I find with Whirlpool is that their warranties are only one year.

I bought the Whirlpool Refrigerator model WRB329DMBM on 15 Sept 2022 (but not at Best Buy). I had two issues within the 1st three weeks. Both were fixed under the warranty. The first issue was the refrigerator made a loud “buzzing sound” when the compressor started to run. The problem was found to be the back panel in the freezer section, which was touching the coolant coils. The technician fixed this by applying a few strips of foam insulation on the backside of the panel. This repair required the removal of both freezer baskets, the freezer door, the freezer fan cover, and then the freezer back panel. Not a job for the amateur, in my view. The 2nd issue I had was the temperature of the refrigerator was wanting to stay at 41 degrees F and the freezer at 4 degrees F. This was at the default temperature settings of #4 for both the refrigerator and the freezer. Setting the freezer at #5 made it go down to -4 degrees F but had no effect on the refrigerator temperature. Setting the refrigerator at #5 or #6 did not affect the temperature much past the 41-degree F mark. The technician solved the problem by resetting the refrigerator down 2 notches using the control board in the diagnostic mode. He did not do any adjustment to the Freezer section. So, with the refrigerated and freezer both set at #5, I now have stable temperatures as follows: Freezer = -4F; Refrigerator = 36F on the 2nd self (1st shelf above the crisper); it quickly goes back to 36F after the door is opened. Refrigerator Door = 37F on 2nd Bin from the top; Refrigerator Door = 40F on very top Bin in the door.

I really have always liked Whirlpool appliances. I purchased the micro, stove, dishwasher, along with the fridge and I get a lot of compliments how nice they match and look. I only gave it a 4 because the bottom drawer which I do love, its just that it opens loudly! Otherwise love it!

I've had this refrigerator for two months. Initially, I was really impressed. I liked how quiet it was, the overall appearance, and the adjustable shelves. Unfortunately, it has become louder over time. I also have had issues with it cooling properly. Whirlpool sent a technician and he recalibrated the temperature control. It was fine for awhile, but now it is acting up again.

Love this fridge. I’ve had it for 3 years and it’s still running perfectly.

After owning this refrigerator for 3 years I can give an honest review. I purchased it on 8/31/21, it was delivered on 9/10/21, and it died on 10/28/24, two months after the 3 year extended warranty ran out. Turns out it is the compressor. A refrigerator repair service quoted me $450 for a new compressor and another $400 for installation. A 3 year old fridge should not need a new compressor. All of my food was trashed as I am without a fridge. I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for decades and you would have thought they would have helped with some of the cost. But no. I will never purchase another item from them. Thankfully I have a new fridge coming in a couple of days - not from Best Buy. I would steer clear from this refrigerator and encourage you to purchase from a company that values its customers. Good-bye to Best Buy.

Overall good. No egg holder or place for butter dish. Maybe they’re all like that now Paid for haul away on old unit…unknown computer glitch canceled that appt.. rescheduled but not til AFTER new unit came. Delv personnel wouldn’t move the old unit until my son in law paid them to move to the porch. Then the rescheduled haulaway never happened..called and said they were on the way, but never showed. Nobody from Best Buy ever contacted us about the missed haulaway. Some service you got there…

The refrigerator is great, but it came dented and BestBuy only provides a short window for an exchange or a small discount. Right now it is out of stock, so in the end we may end up WITHOUT a refrigerator. Frustrating situation- but nice refrigerator besides.

Although I’ve only had it about a month I’m very happy with it. Everything in the specs was correct and this was important in fitting it into the space available.
