This one was INSANELY loud, used an old Embraco ball compressor, could not keep the fridge temp even at all between upper and lower shelves, had to have fridge temp on MAX cooling to keep upper shelf under 40 degrees, used an old metal rod switch for the ice maker instead of a simple rocker switch, was too dim inside, ugh! Stay away from Whirlpool fridges, LG is miles better. Only good point is that the door was magnetic.

I also bought new Whirlpool range, microwave and refrigerator for Mom as early Bday present (they were open box). After one week of use, the refirgerator went out and turns out Whirlpool said it was put in service back in 2015, compressor replaced. I puchased in April 2018 and 76 year old Mom is so frustrated with me and refrigerator. Technician said motor is gone. She is at Best Buy now and local represenataitve is working with her to resolve for possible exchange or whirlpool will fix. Beware of open box items, ask associate to check history of product beforehand even with warranty starting from date of purchase.
