Seems everyone wanted a freezer during this pandemic. Our old one bit the big one, and we needed to replace it. Best Buy seemed to be the only source that was getting regular shipments of appliances, so decided to purchase from them. I can't say that I like this freezer as well as the one that we had previously. Not only is it slightly smaller, but has vents on the back wall, one for each shelf that must not be covered to insure that the freezer operates well. This makes restocking the freezer slightly more difficult than before. I must take responsibility for not researching the unit better before I purchased, or frankly, I wouldn't have chosen this due to the "vent" issue. Overall, it does a great job in keeping the food products frozen, and ultimately serves the purpose.

This freezer is nice and spacious. It freezes well is is pretty quiet. The Best Buy delivery team did a great job bringing it inside, putting it where we needed it, and explaining the startup process!

I am replacing a 16 year old Whirlpool 20.3 freezer.. I like the quick freeze, the temperature alarm( which I had on my prior freezer) that saved me from losing food by letting me know the temp had risen. Wish they made a 20.3 with these same features. It has a lot of storage, racks adjust easily, does what it is suppose to do. WIsh it had a little light on the front, so you know it is running. Extremely quiet

This freezer provides tremendous space and organization for our frozen foods. Runs very quietly.

We love the layout of the inside. So much shelf space and basket space. It gives so much visibility to whats in the freezer. I also appreciated how light and maneuverable it is.

Very satisfactory purchase. Exactly what I had been looking for, best known make, ample capacity, performs like a clock and best of all: at first sight finding of whatever I’m looking for. I’m in love with my freezer and can’t wait to purchase the twin refrigerator

Quiet, freezes great, doesn't run often. Seems to be very efficient. Lots of room to organize andfind all items easily once they are put in.

This is a large freezer with ease in reaching everything on every shelf. It operates quietly. The shelves on the door are good size.

would be 5 stars but the first 1 delivered didn't work and had to get it replaced. Best Buy was awesome to work with and gave us no hassle to get a new one. The new one is working great so far with no issues. I think it was just a fluke that the first was not functional.

I replaced a chest freezer with this upright freezer. Finding items in my new Whirlpool upright is SO much easier than finding items in the chest freezer. The Whirlpool upright is also frost-free which is a BIG plus for me. I have only owned my upright freezer for about a couple of months so don’t know how it will last. I like it a lot so far.

This freezer is just what we needed to supplement our overloaded unit we now have. Very quiet . Well designed shelf layout. The frost-free feature is great.

It looks great, keeps everything frozen and is very quiet. It has so much room and lots of shelves to keep food separate.

Bought this for my Husband’s Father’s Day gift and he absolutely loves it! We have not had any problems at all! We enjoy how spacious it is.

Excellent freezer for our garage and needs for extra freezer space. Love the lower height and space it needs for the space in the garage. It freezes foods very weel and has ample space inside. Quality freezer!

Love this freezer. It had plenty of space for all our meats and vegetables, and it’s quiet. Great value for the price.

Our standard refrigerator / freezer combo served us well for years, but as our family (immediate and extended) and social groups grew, we struggled to find room for all the items we used for birthdays, school activities, sporting event, summer parties and holidays. We originally thought about getting a slightly smaller chest-style freeze, but I’m glad we didn’t. This freezer provides plenty of room for all of our regular stuff, while allowing for easy storage of bulky items. It’s easy to organize and we can find items without excessive digging and rummaging.

There is nothing to complain about with this freezer. This is a newer generation of the one we had before; having digital controls rather than the manual knob. The last one lasted over 10 years and would have lasted longer if we hadn't over stuffed it and the door popped open while we were on a two-week vacation. It recovered from that event but finally gave out when we left it open overnight. The new freezer has slightly smaller external measurements but is roomier inside due to the ergonomic layout of the door shelves and thinner inner walls. It is energy efficient rated. This unit gives a lot of bang for the buck.

Great size for what we needed. Keeps things nice and frozen. :) Outside does seem warm to touch, not sure if that's normal, will be checking.

I purchased model #WZF79R20DW00 Whirlpool Upright Freezer from Best Buy and it started having temperature control problems just one week before the manufacturer’s one year warranty expired. I contacted Whirlpool to repair the unit and instead received 11 months of problems! Whirlpool’s response has been terrible: only 1 authorized repair company in New Jersey and a 3 week minimum to get a service appointment. They recently admitted that “my freezer unit should be scrapped” and are offering that “I can PURCHASE the same model at a discounted price.” Now, my freezer is not even 2 years old and is trash. I have lost my purchase price, over $1000 in spoiled foods, days off work,and countless hours on the phone. And, I still do not have a working freezer! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that BEST BUY cancel Upright Freezer contracts with Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, and Amana. These freezers are all produced by the same company and apparently there's a known flaw with the temp unit malfunctioning and causing food loss. I've had many positive experiences with Best Buy, but thought you should know how your partner, Whirlpool, has treated your customer.

The freezer works nice and is very spacious. It’s pretty standard but does have multiple temperature settings and an alarm which sounds when temp increase is detected. I do wish that the alarm was a little louder because it’s very difficult to hear unless you are right next to it.
