Got a great deal on this at Best Buy so for the money I very pleased. It was on sale plus they were out of stock so the guy gave me a nice discount. Easy to install. Works well so far (had about 1 month). Like the 2 levels. Has the features we need. Wife seems happy (thank God). Beep when done cooking is a little annoying but if you actually reading instructions (unlike me) you might be able to disable it.

This microwave usually has great reviews but I think I just got a dud. I did not purchase this microwave via Best Buy, but it was part of my new home build. After 9 months the door sensor broke and anytime we would go to run the microwave, it would tell you to open/close the door. Whirlpool sent out a certified factory dealer to fix the problem. They found it to be a faulty control panel and replaced it. After that was replaced the exhaust fan broke. Whirlpool sent out that dealer again with the new part, and everything was working perfectly. Flash forward a whole 24 hours later, and the microwave would make the loudest sound ever and shut off after 3 seconds and blow the fuse. Turns out the turntable motor had broke and the NEW control panel was already faulty. The turntable motor part was on backorder for a month and I am still currently waiting for it to be shipped to me while I have a microwave shut off collecting dust. As most anyone would be, I was extremely frustrated knowing that Whirlpool has spent at least 4 times more sending out certified dealers and replacing parts, then if they were to just order me a new microwave. They stood firm on their policy even if it meant a customer without a working microwave for over a month. Whirlpool did offer me a nice $75 debit card that took 4 weeks to arrive to help pay for a temporary microwave, but they would not work with me when I asked for the warranty to be extended 3 or 6 months. I wanted that peace of mind and it's frustrating that for 2 of my 12 month warranty, the microwave was completely broken. Overall, it's a nice microwave when it's working but with all I have had to go through I wouldn't recommend this model nor any Whirlpool appliances...

I bought this microwave two years ago in store after reading the reviews on line. It is a very good microwave. I installed it over my range myself and was very happy with it. Some reviews said the chime when cooking was done was too soft. Not true in our home, (Grandkids, two dogs etc.) I waited to review until we had it a while so I am posting now. The only issue we have had is the censer just went out when we were cooking baked potatoes. They went past the done stage and started to smoke. I opted to get the protection plan at purchase and just renewed it last month. I called the Geek squad and they are sending a tech out this week to fix it, no additional charge. All in all, we have been very happy with this unit and Geek squad.

I bought this microwave open box, description stated excellent. It came with two dents one small one on side and one tinny one on the front door like it was dropped on something maybe during packaging or shipping. That is the chance you take of an open box item. It is still nice looking I am going to keep it. We have not hung it yet. I plugged it in, it seems to work fine with three speed fan and two settings for the light. It appears to have all the parts. We will see. I ordered it and received the very next day super fast shipping.

We purchased a Whirlpool Microwave in White Ice and an LG SS gas range on Nov 2nd. On Nov 5th the microwave was delivered via UPS, on the 6th, my husband installed it. The next morning, the 7th, I went to use it and the number one on the key pad would not work. I then tried the rest of the keypad. There was no rhyme or reason, but only a few numbers worked. I then tried the other options, and again, also hit or miss. The light under the unit worked the night before, but when I tried it again, nothing. I called Best Buy customer service that evening and they are shipping another unit. I honestly don't know if I can recommend this microwave or Whirpool for that matter until we have a working unit. I would like to update this review once I know. I was skeptical about buying a Whirlpool microwave, but we liked the color combination which would offset the SS range and our white cabinets and other appliances, and b/c the reviews were great. We did NOT buy the WP gas range b/c the reviews said the electronic keypad died unexpectedly - sort of like the keypad on the microwave... BTW, the BB customer service was excellent and I truly hope my new unit works. We hope this is a fluke, otherwise we will buy a samsung or panasonic. Let's hope BB customer service is just as good the 2nd time around IF we need to contact them again.

I've had this for about 8 months now, and it's performing as expected. Looks snazzy, and does the trick. There are no quick-minute shortcuts on this guy, if that's something you're accustomed to - i.e. pressing "1" for it to automatically start warming for one minute, "2" for two minutes, etc. You'll have to press in the desired time, which allows you more control over heating, but without the quick-key option. But it's no biggie. What's another half-second?

Runs great and looks good too. It's so pretty, I'm worried to use it.

I've had this for a few months and have had a chance to use really use it. I love this microwave. Once I started using it I kept finding more and more settings it has. The warm and hold setting is better than the one on my stove, the reheat plate setting is wonderful for reheating your plate of leftovers. Am so glad this is the one I selected.

The looks are great. Easy to clean and use. The only thing about it that takes off one point is the suctioning power of the exhaust fan. It's on the loud side with not enough suction. But we don't cook everyday so it works for us.

5 months after i bought it when i closed the door the fan and light would stay on so i would leave the door open so just the light stayed on then a month later with the door closed it would read door not closed and not work at all my last no name microwave lasted 13 years. i did not buy the extended warranty i should not have to.i will never buy another whirlpool product and i suggest you do not unless u like things that don't last more than 6 months

I bought this to replace my white GE builders special as I am changing my kitchen. matches up with the electric stove. my only gripe is that if you have full overlay cabinet doors, the trim piece on the left sticks out to much. Had to grind this off to open the cabinet over the microwave. bad design???

Has many features and easy to use. Big inside. Looks nice and inexpensive. most important was it got great reviews on several sites.

Pretty decent microwave. Only complaint is the fan does absolutely nothing. it runs but does not remove any steam or smoke.

While this microwave has some nice features it is not the quality I expected. The light under the unit stopped working less than a month after it was installed. Best Buy said to call Whirlpool. Called whirlpool and to date nothing has been resolved.

When I saw this microwave had a sensor reheat feature like the one I was replacing, I figured they were all created equal, or at least this new model would be as good as the 10 year old model ! was replacing. I was wrong about that. This microwave has just a few reheat options, like "a plate", "a cup of soup", "pizza" and just a few others. I was expecting sensor reheat to have a general option where it could sense anything, but there is no such thing. You pretty much have to know how much time and what power level to use if you want to reheat something and get it right. I guess when you pay a little extra for sensor reheat you expect something useful, but the store does not offer any details on the features or lack of. I would avoid this model if you like using sensor reheat. I am ready to pull out my old model and start using it.

I never really thought that I would ever use a pizza button on a microwave and it actually be that effective. No soggy crust, perfectly warmed up pizza. All of the space that it has to offer is way more than I could have ever anticipated. Anyone that comes over and notices our new microwave just loves the sleek look and design as well.

Got this in Sept as a replacement for aging unit. Worked great, easy to use up till two days ago when it sporadically wouldn't sense that the door was shut. Then last night it just died. Completely powered off and won't come back on. Although Whirlpool agreed to send out a technician, they can't get to my house for 10 day! That service stinks! I wouldn't recommend this or any whirlpool product simply for the lack of service from Whirlpool. Waiting 10 days for a repair is too long.

Bought this for the house we just bought. The previous owners took the fridge and microwave, but left the stainless steel oven. This looks great above our oven/range. It was easy to install, and works perfectly. Also has the most space in it from any microwave I've owned.

I was hesitant about an over-the-range microwave with vent. More things to go wrong, I said. But for space sake I gave it a try and I love it. Not only does is save counter space, it vents and it is easily accessible. Being only 5' 1" I thought I would be too short but wrong again. I love it.
