Appliance sales at my BBuy have been taken over by Pacific Sales. I had a very poor purchase experience. BBuy website said the microwave was in stock at the store, and in reliance on this I took out my old microwave. When I got to the store, they did not have it, and said it would take three business days to get. To compound the problem it was difficult for them to accept Best Buy gift cards. It appears that the Pac Sales computer systems are completely independent from the BBuy ones. And finally, they didn't even contact me when it came in. I had to go back to the store with my receipt in hand. It was a good thing the store was close to my house.

This microwave is very quiet. It was a bit of a pain to install as the holes from the last microwave did not line up but that isn't necessarily the manufacturers fault except that I wish it was standard.

Working as advertised and looks great. It was ideal to buy as a part of a package where I replaced all of my kitchen appliances.

This microwave is easy to clean, I love how the vent from the micorhood is on the top and not the front.

We researched to get the best appliances possible for our kitchen remodel. This microwave had all of the features we wanted and it fit a small odd space. The fan is powerful and kicks on automatically when the heat from our new gas range gets too hot. It is quiet and does not have an annoying buzzer sound when the cycle is finished. The unit was delivered damaged, and Best Buy got us another right away. Happy with product and service.

We bought this in August 2014. I just looked up our purchase date, as I was hoping that we were still within a year so that maybe we would have some warranty coverage, Several months ago, it got to where it kept saying "open/close door" every time you pushed start, and it would not start until you opened and shut the door several times (I later found out through reading online that the problem was that it wouldn't start until the light came on - an issue with the door sensor). If only I had taken it back then. I have since read online that this is a "thing" with this model. Last night, and this morning, I was unable to get it going at all despite all efforts, and I am afraid we are just going to have to trash it, as it would probably cost about as much to get it fixed as a new one would cost. I hated it before this problem arose, too. The under-lighting it puts out over the stove is terrible compared to the Kenmore Elite we had before this one.

I like this microwave for cooking odds and ends to make a meal come together. It fits over the range and provides a two level light so I can see what I'm doing clearly. I like the fan settings and the way it carries steam and heat away from the back burners. Its a nice looking microwave and is a good match for my range.

If you are looking for an affordable over the range microwave-this is the one. I have never purchased Whirlpool, but I'm very pleased with this product. Easy to clean and I had a friend help to install it. I would definitely buy again and look into Whirlpool if I'm ever upgrading appliances.

I purchased this Microhood because it had the highest CFM (Drawing power). I convinced my husband that it would pull more grease and smoke out of our home. I had it professionally installed and vented out the roof. It does not pull any smoke or steam from the front 2 burners and barely any from the back. I have had 5 serviceman to my home - The ones through the Home Improvement store that begins with L all said it is working normal. My electrician and another co both said it does not. L won't honor the extended warranty and Manufacturer will not get involved. So I have a $1000 Lemon.

Nice in depth . Haven't had a chance to put it in the over head yet but has nice controls and easily understood

Only lasted 5 years. Starting to go out on me, heats up only when it wants to. Seems like everything these days goes out in about 5 years. So, average reveiw.

I think I'm missing the glass panel inside the microwave door it fogs up everytime I cook anything. Every microwave I have seen has a glass in the front and the back but ours doesn't, is this normal?

I bought this unit last Nov. 2015. We began to experience some problems in March with the sensor where it won't work telling us that the door is open but will work after a few attempts. At the end of July, it completely stopped working and technician had to replace and order the control panel. I bought it after reading great reviews here in Best Buy website. Now I read the reviews at Amazon and many had same problems as mine. I am very disappointed and I'm now planning to buy a service plan warranty because of the reviews I read.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and bought all new stainless steel appliances, got a great deal from Best Buy. I researched for months before finally deciding on this over the range microwave. The reason I picked it was because of its many convenient features, which included, non-stick interior, timed nightlight, turntable you could turn off, and most of all THE SENSOR TECHNOLOGY. We have owned many microwave ovens in the years since they were first introduced AND I CAN TELL YOU WITHOUT QUESTION THIS IS THE WORST MICROWAVE WE HAVE EVER OWNED. The 6th sense sensor technology should be called senseless, because it doesn't know when it wants to work or when it just stops the cooking before it finishes the job. I will use a simple example, popping microwave popcorn: Put bag in press popcorn, starts cooking, once steam comes out of bag you can hear the magnetron stop the cooking, after a minute or so it starts cooking again , results half a bag of unpopped kernels. Same problem with everything, the sensor stops the cooking before anything gets hot, 6-10 minutes to reheat a dinner plate. I researched to see if you could turn off the sensor and found out you couldn't, also saw where many others reported the same problem I had, unfortunately I assumed the problem was me getting used to how the sensor technology worked, and waited too long and the warranty expired last month. I just ordered a GE JVM3160RFSS from Best Buy, highly recommended by Consumer Reports with out the sensor, similar to the GE I removed, but in stainless steel. I will garage sell this one. DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE !

The stamped sheet metal mounting bracket is not rated for the weight of the appliance. The right side of the microwave sags under the weight of the unit as the metal bracket bends under load. This both looks bad and causes the rear vent flap to bind and the exhaust fan to no longer work properly since the hinged door can't open. After installing it there was a problem with the first item I tried. I made a baked potato and steam leaked out of the door onto the face of the appliance and fog appeared in between the panes of the microwave door as well. You cannot read the screen unless you are directly in front of the unit. Being to the side or across the room causes the screen to wash out and appear invisible.
