This is my second Whirlpool microwave, first one lasted 2 years then had issues with the door latch and unit not working properly. This is the same model as my first one, have had it for 4 months and starting to have issues with the door latch. It won't always open, sometimes takes two or three tries to get the door open. Every once in a while the clock will go to zero also. Will never buy another whirlpool.

PLEASE NEVER BUY THIS MICROWAVE. We are on the 5th one in 6 years, the first 3 were covered under a warranty and we kept buying them because we had a trim kit that only it matched. The last one was bought october 2019 and it has already went out again on June 2021. We have had a range of problems with all of them from electrical, the side panel sparking and catching fire, to just stop working altogether. RUN FROM THIS MICROWAVE and whirlpool in general.

It’s a microwave. It’s exactly like the one that we had before, but it MUCH noisier! It does the job. But I’d prefer one that wasn’t so loud (that’s where the points are lost).

Have had this microwave for about 1 1/2 years now. And it just died. It's out of warranty, but called Whirlpool and they said they can't service them that if it was in warranty (which expired just 6 months ago) they would have replaced it. So now I'm going to be out another $300+ to get a new one. I bought a package of 4 KitchenAid appliances and this one Whirlpool microwave. Have now had issues with 3 of the 5 (only 18 months in). Disappointing to say the least. Recommend getting the extended warranty on all appliances at this point.

Just what I needed. Good

I took it out the box and did not work. The button to open the door wouldn't do anything. It's like pushing air. I should have listen to everyone else with the same problem. Plus, it was missing a foot on the bottom and the casing wasn't installed properly. There was a gap. You could see the inside. I would be embarrassed to sell this product. Try investing into a quality assurance department before it leaves your company.

First Microwave that was shipped and installed the door would not open, fail. Best Buy immediately reshipped a replacement. Replacement microwave was installed and seemed to be working until the next morning I went to warm something up and the control panel went out. I am very disappointed considering I had my new cabinets made to fit the specific dimensions of this microwave.

Excellent large microwave. It's so quiet. I love the fact you can purchase the trim kit and have a built in microwave.

I highly rate this Microwave This is my second one. and was very pleased with the first one.

Worked well for about a 20 months... Now once a week, it will continue to cook after the time has expired. After taking the food out, and close the door, it continues to hum and cook! We are now scared to walk away from the microwave when cooking anything even for 30 seconds. We have come back to a flaming popcorn bag, burnt to the core reheated pasta, and a whole house power outage. This is an extremely dangerous product since there apparently is no failsafe to stop if contents get too hot.

It goes beautifully with our other appliances and works as expected.

I like the product but the service at BEST BUY is terrible. They rescheduled delivery twice with out notifying us. I would recommend HOME DEPOT or LOWES over this business. They are overwhelmed and disorganized

Just hooked up.Door is loose, so it doesn’t close properly. The only way to close is to lift up on the bottom side of the door.

This microwave is perfect. Very large interior. So has the height and width. I love it!!

This is the model that came with our new home, purchased in 2015. It is built in and because of the ridiculously expensive trim piece that surrounds the microwave, it must be replaced with the same model. Today I am ordering another one. The first microwave lasted April 2015 to August 2019. The second lasted September 2019 to January of 2023. I used to think Whirlpool was a good brand. Not anymore.
