    I bought this microwave during the pandemic in April 2021 and it crapped out in July 2024. The unit runs continously with the door shut, of course it's out of warranty. Internet says its a bad control board issue, what a waste.

    I had my previous owner installed this model WMC50522AS in home in 2015 and it started causing all sort of problem in 2022. Now since last 2 months it became ghost machine and it starts on its own at midnight or even with door open and causing hazard risk.. Don't buy this.. the push button was replaced twice.. not good quality - didn't even last for 7 years after paying $399

    Front Door Mesh - unable to be cleaned

    The door mesh or grill is unable to be cleaned. When something blows in the microwave, it gets stuck behind the mesh. Worst design ever. Do not buy from Whirlpool

    I wish I had read more reviews. We had installed in Oct. 22. Its Dec. 6th and it already has a bubble on the display. So sad.

    Opened dilapidated box for the price of new

    Best Buy tried to give me an open/dilapidated box with dented microwave metal case and they tried to hand it over to me based on original purchase price of over $350 which is higher than their now on sale out of stock price ($304 of course!!) for the same exact same model. So decided not to take it from the store. Good try Best Buy!!!
