It started with the refrigerator section freezing even while at recommended setting. After I turned it off and back on, the freezer section only blows cold air but would not freeze. after 3 days both sections stopped working. My advise, do not buy brand name, buy cheap and add a 5 year plan. Quality is a game of chance these days. I tried LG with Home Depot same issue.

The freezer was fine. We received a replacement one and it had the same problem. We replaced with a GE and had no issues.

After waiting 24 hours I placed my frozen and cold food (over $300 worth) in the brand new Whirlpool refrigerator. Later on I noticed my frozen meat was thawing out and the refrigerator was warm so I put a thermometer in to check the temp. It is 68 in both the refrigerator and freezer. Not one single setting on this refrigerator works. Best Buy told me they will replace this Whirlpool refrigerator on Monday 9/27. I have a non working refrigerator with more than $300 worth of spoiled food. Either Whirlpool or Best Buy needs to replace this food. This has been a nightmare!

It is square and pointed. I hit my head on the handle a number of times when standing, after hunting for something in the bottom compartment....almost passed out once.
