I like the sleek look of this refrigerator. It also has lots of storage capacity. However, if you need to move the handles to the right side of the unit (they come attached to the left side), I recommend being very careful—and hiring professionals who specialize in installing/repairing refrigerators—to ensure the unit stays intact through the process. Even better, if you are paying for delivery with installation, make sure to ask for the handles to be installed on the side you prefer, and verify that they are is installed properly before signing for the delivery/installation. Overall, I’m happy to own this American-made appliance. Here’s to many years of refrigeration!

Exactly what I wanted. Plenty of storage. Great fridge!

Perfect size for my space in an older home. Really pretty white goes well with kitchen. Shelves adjust easily.

The temperature does not regulate correctly in either the refrigerator or the freezer. I have Whirlpool technician coming to look at next week.

I love this refrigerator. We could not find one to fit into our limited space in our kitchen. This one fit so perfect. It is so roomy inside and very easy to clean. Easy to take the drawers and shelves out for cleaning. Made very well.

Five stars for this fridge. I LOVE it! It's spacious and the sliding deli drawer is genius. Both upper shelves can accommodate gallon-sized jugs, and the top shelf fits liter bottles with ease. The veggie and fruit drawers are adequately spacious, and the door shelves are, too. The freezer is quite large, even with the optional icemaker installed. The fridge and freezer are quiet and both cool excellently; we have appliance thermometers in both sections to be sure of this. Only hiccup with this fridge was that we had to have it replaced because the first one that was delivered would not produce ice. New fridge/freezer produces a hefty volume of ice in quick speed...super pleased. Okay, so the comment about Best Buy. We purchased a Samsung fridge at the onset. Delivery men were outstanding. They exercised considerable care installing the fridge, and in hauling off our old one. They removed all plastic wrap, all internal padding, and tape to ensure an efficient and professional delivery that left zero work for me other than loading my groceries. Super pleased. The problem was, Samsung would not adequately cool, so we opted for the Whirlpool as a replacement, which was delivered a week later. The second delivery team was horrible. It was a nail-biter watching them bring the fridge into the house...seriously expected some damage, and am surprised none occurred. Once inside, one of the men asked if he could use our restroom, which I didn't have a problem with, but he peed with the door OPEN while I was right there! Unbelievable. I had also ordered the icemaker to be installed, for which a man handed me the component box. I said, "I purchased an installation package." He said, "Oh, I've never installed one before." Ugh. They remove ZERO plastic wrap from the fridge, and left all of the internal tape and padding for me to remove adding that it would be like, "unwrapping a Christmas present." Lord. Dude also installed the handles OVER the plastic wrap so that I had to uninstall and reinstall them, enabling me to adequately remove all of the film. Incredible, and not in a good way. Okay, we end up having a problem with this fridge too, because it would not produce ice. In calling Best Buy's Geek Squad, I SPECIFICALLY asked for them to bring an ohmmeter to test if the problem was on the fridge's side or within the icemaker....remembering the delivery guy had never installed one before. Dispatch said they would. We wait a week for them to arrive. Instead of sending a repair team, as requested Best Buy sent another installation team with NO ohmmeter. They did, however, replace the icemaker, which still did not work. Ugh. We called Best Buy again, and this time they try to send the repairman we initially asked for. I said, "I want a new fridge." He says, "You're already outside of your window to receive a replacement fridge." Furious now, I replied that we're outside of our window because of their two-week delay, and demanded a new refrigerator and ice maker. Dispatch slowly relented and scheduled another delivery for two weeks later. We finally received the fridge we have now, which thankfully does work perfectly. However, the second delivery team was also terrible. No plastic wrap or interior packaging was removed, handles were installed over wrap again, so that I had to go through the same fiasco of uninstalling them again to properly remove the film. Side note, I was out-of-town helping family, when this final fridge was installed. Had I been there, I would have asked my husband to ensure they properly unwrapped and installed everything. Needless to say, it was a hastle to get to this point. I didn't want to knock the fridge in this review, but Best Buy has to up their delivery game. I would NEVER recommend an appliance purchase from them, ever!

Received this 3 days ago to replace our 26 year old Maytag and surprised how quiet it is! Took less than an hour to chill all our food & drinks on a 90 degree humid day! We have a small kitchen and this fit like a glove with more interior space than our old one.

Just took delivery, purchased at, and installed by Best Buy. The delivery/install guys were great - no complaint there. So far, the unit seems to keep the fridge cold, and the freezer really cold - so I'm OK with that. I was really shocked to find that the Monochromatic Stainless Steel we paid a big up-charge for was just the doors. Both sides, and the top, are a gray putty, non-stainless. If we ordered the white version, the whole dang thing would be white - saw it in the store. If we ordered the black, the whole thing would be black - saw it in the store. Why, when paying an up-charge, doesn't that follow for stainless??? The 2nd problem, which is being worked on, is the freezer door gasket. It was badly aligned when the door was made, and since it's a "foam-in-place" gasket, it's actually part of the door, rather than a separate replaceable part. So, we're waiting for a replacement door to be installed. I understand that happens, and I assume Best Buy will take care of it. HOWEVER, only one surface being the stainless, for which we paid an up-charge, has left us will a really bad opinion.

I recently purchased a fridge from Best Buy, and I must say, the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the store, I was greeted with top-notch customer service. It has been a month since the purchase and delivery, and I have yet to encounter any issues. The fridge has proven to be reliable, efficient, and well worth the investment. I am confident that it will continue to serve me well for years to come. Overall, my experience with Best Buy and the product I purchased has been nothing short of outstanding. From exceptional customer service to a high-quality appliance, I couldn't be more satisfied. I highly recommend Best Buy to anyone in search of a reliable retailer and quality products.

I purchased this Whirlpool top freezer refrigerator 01/2017 because after 19 years my Magic Chef finally started to give out on me. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this fridge because of the bad reviews I saw. I'm here to say that it works beautifully, keeps my fresh foods very cold at the recommended manufactured temperature setting and my freezer keeps all of my frozen goods frozen the way they should be and my ice is made super fast after I fill the trays with water. I absolutely LOVE my Whirlpool fridge and I would definitely recommend this fridge to anyone who is looking for a great fridge that works well at a good price.

I bought this refrigerator and it was delivered yesterday. I have left it on high to cool the refrigerator and to test the interior temperature readings. I have 1 thermometer in each section. I have loosely filled the refrigerator with nonperishables since it is in the garage. I wanted to see what the other reviews were referring to in regards to temperature regulation. I realized that the freezer is efficiently in cooling. The refrigerator section struggles to maintain a low temperature. After observing the air flow from the freezer to the refrigerator I realized that there are several design flaws. (1) The venting from the freezer to the refrigerator is small compared to my previous one that had a circular venting area that allowed much more cold air to enter the refrigerator section. This small rectangular hole doesn't allow enough air to cool to keep up with the door open to take things out, then to recover. The motor will have to run longer to maintain the required internal temp. (2) The glass shelves are pretty and easy to clean BUT they do not allow air to easily pass through to the lower level to keep every thing nice and cold. This is a comparison to the grated shelves which allow much air flow to pass. (2) Even if the manufacturer wanted to have glass shelves, it would have been better to have two pieces of glass for a shelf rather than one, because the two parts would have a space in the middle allowing air to travel from top to bottom without obstruction. My personal conclusion is that this refrigerator could have better circulation ability to help move the air throughout the refrigerator. There are two many obstructions to make this happen efficiently. Hence when the refrigerator is opened and then closed it takes longer to recover the cold temp. It will have to work harder and longer to keep up. Since this refrigerator is in the garage and is a second refrigerator, I will use this refrigerator for the freezer section and refrigerator with nonperishables (no dairy or other items that require a maintainance temp of 40 degrees). If I buy another refrigerator in the future, I will pay more attention to the items I observed. This is fine for a second refrigerator. I would require more cooling in my next purchase. This is my personal opinion, any one can have another. Have a good day.

After having returned to Sears 2 defective top feezer models( they did not actually freeze anything), one by Kenmore and the other by Hotpoint, I am delighted with this purchase. I placed temperature gauges in both the freezer and frig and they are right on - O and 40 degrees at the recommended settings. The delivery was easy and this frig is particularly wide - thanks!

I getting frustrated between Lowe's and home depot. Home depot only delivers. To me i feel, like why cant i just pick it up. We need to order ahead of time. I don't kno when my refridgerater is going down. So we were headed back to Lowe's to buy a refrigerator that i didn't want. So i said let me stop by best buy. They had exactly what i wanted. Cheaper too. Thank you so much for the great service too.

Nice refrigerator and perfect size for the smaller space available in my kitchen; appreciate the many shelf configuration options and LED lights; however, removed one star since it is particularly loud when running compared to my previous fridge.

Much better than the first one which never worked! We had to wait forever to get a new one on the mean time lost everything in outlet refrigerator! Never happening again!
