My home is open concept and you hear the compressor running when you open the front door, when your are in the bedroom, and everywhere. Geek Squad came out and said all of them are like that now. I love the frig, but not the noise. I am now checking into acoustic soundproofing on the wall behind it. I do plan to contact Whirlpool next.
