The first refrigerator had a crack on the inside and it was exchanged. I’m very happy with the second refrigerator.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS OR ANY OTHER WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT. THEIR WARRANTY PROGRAM IS A JOKE. Purchased this refrigerator because it had mostly good reviews and seemed to be a good value. Delivery was on time and they set it up great, took away all of the trash and were pleasant to deal with. Then, 2 1/2 months after buying this refrigerator, it began to make an intermittent clicking noise, then stopped cooling. We lost the entire contents of the our refrigerator. I called Whirlpool and they said they would send a qualified repairmen to fix the problem the next day between 8-12, The unqualified person who showed up at 12:40 said that the compressor was bad and he couldn't fix it, that they would report it to Whirlpoo.l who would make a decision on whether to fix or replace it, and that if it was to be fixed, he could not do it as he was not skilled enough to do it. I called whirlpool and they confirmed that their repair contractor had no skilled technicians for 2 weeks. They scheduled someone else to come out. I called them first to advise what the problem was so they could order parts. They assured me that their technician would have the skills to diagnose and repair the problem. He too showed up late and said that it was a bad compressor and that Whirlpool would have to decide to replace or repair, either way, our refrigerator was not getting fixed that day. Whirlpool tells me that the repair facility will order the parts but it will take 7-10 business days for them to come in. I explained that we need our refrigerator, we have kids and need to be able to keep food in the house and asked if they can expedite the parts process. The young lady on the phone said they can't expedite the parts BECAUSE THE SHIPPING COMPANY DOESN'T TREAT EXPEDITED PARTS GENTLE ENOUGH AND THEY WILL ARRIVE DAMAGED!!! This is professional grade b.s.. She offered a $50.00 visa card that will arrive in 6 weeks. Yaaaay. After 2 1/2 months of working, it broke down and Whirlpool is not willing to spend a few extra dollars to expedite the repairs and works with unqualified, unprofessional repair technicians. Will never buy one of their products again.

I loved purchasing a refrigerator for my grandmothers home, it was made super simple, all we needed to do was wait for the third day after we set the order for the refrigerator to arrive and get installed, would do it all over again.

Again to soon to tell. As far as now. I like it. Its roomy. Have to read up on temperature control. I adjusted twice so far. At first it was freezing liquids in it. So of course i turned the temperature to what i would assume stopped drinks from freezing up. I have to. Like i said, read up on it more

If not for the running of the compressor with it's loud and High Pitch Compressor's whining we give the unit a better than good rating. Good sized Freezer Refrigerator sections and bins. The doors easily reverse, and leveling just as easy. On max setting the freezer is at 0* F and the refrigerator near 35*. Back to the whining of the compressor, which is noticeable during the day down the hall (Utility RM) to the kitchen and back hall. But at night when all is quite it rings throughout the house with the high pitch being the more notable at the distances from it. Not an old hand at buying Whirlpool's and with a second side/side from whirlpool coming that goes right in the kitchen we hope we don't have the same issue....

I had some anxiety about this fridge after reading the other reviews. A lot of complaints about it being noisy. I understand that all new fridges and the efficient compressors are noisy. So I wasn't sure what to expect once it was plugged in, and in my home. This fridge is not noisy. It is very quiet to me. Seems to be a quality piece. I do like the LED lighting too.

Fridge is ok. But The men that came to move in and install new fridge and remove old Fridge were amazing! My apartment is so small and could nit get in the back door. Kudos to both of them For getting Fridge in and out without hesitation and very quickly!

Not happy with this fridge and would. It recommend it. The biggest issue is that the seal that keeps the freezer and fridge door closed is weak and cheap. We already had the fridge door replaced once because the seal was so bad the door would not stay closed. The replacement is ok - the door doesn’t open on its own anymore but you do need to give it a good push to ensure it stays closed. Also, the seal is just not tight in some area. I can feel very cold air escaping when I put my hand near some of the edges.

This refrigerator is great and meets all my needs. I have plenty of room for everything and it works perfectly. The door hinges and handles were reversed from what I ordered but the delivery man had the tools and know-how to make those right!

Very quiet operation, very good space utilization. Roomy. This is used as a scecond fridge and it is perfect!*

This is a pretty standard no frills refrigerator. Just what my wife wanted. The shelves are nice and the interior light is very nice. It does have a noticeable hum but not too loud to be bothersome. We did have a several week wait for delivery but we had a backup refrigerator in the garage we could use. Delivery and install were fine. We paid extra for the ice maker which works as well.

Lots of storage in a smaller fridge. Good price, too!

When our old refrigerator died (it had 23 years of use), I knew it was time for a new one. We didn’t want to mess around with any complicated technology so we went for a simple top freezer model, and settled on Whirlpool. This name was synonymous with reliability in my book. Unfortunately, it appears that there has been some slippage at this manufacturer. We have had this model for 24 days now, and it has yet to cool to the proper temperature in the refrigerator for more than a couple of hours. We haven’t been able to use it for food storage yet. So far there have been two service calls with one more scheduled for this week. It is unbelievable to me to purchase a very simple, brand-new model of a refrigerator and not be able to use it for three weeks. I have to constantly monitor and record the temperatures in order to provide more detail to the service representative. I asked today if we could just have a replacement but was provided no estimate on when or if they might happen. To say I am disappointed is putting it mildly. I was told I can’t have a new one yet. I am almost to the point of just wanting my money back and buying a totally different brand. If anyone has any advice on this please comment and let me know. This is also a warning – for food safety reasons, refrigerators need to be below 40 degrees and freezers at 0. I would hate to see anyone buy this brand new, not check it out as thoroughly as I did, and become ill. Another factor to this is that it’s quite inconvenient to schedule service, since I work full time and the service technicians are only available during the day, during the week. I buy everything through Best Buy and I don't blame them for this, I believe it is the Manufacturer's responsibility to fix this.

It does everything a fridge is s'posed to and at a good price. I am very pleased with the amount of space the fridge provides. The inside is well designed and from the outside it is very aesthetically pleasing. However, after just 1 week it started running loudly (with a high pitched squeal mixed in too) and quite often. Tech came out... bad compressor. To Best Buy's credit, they are replacing it, thus far hassle free. Short of the bad compressor out of the box, I like the fridge. But I am disappointed with Whirlpool and apparent lack of quality parts. Here's hoping the next one wasn't built on a Monday. Best Buy service, on the other hand was very good. Just a shame I had to utilize them.

Ordered this fridge and requested the door handles be reversed(moved to the right side). There were big gaps on both sides of the fridge door gasket and along the bottom seal as well. A second fridge was ordered, door handles reversed - same problem. I eventually got a Whirlpool technician involved who brought a heat gut to try to massage the door gasket, but it didn't work. I was taking in warm, humid air and getting all kinds of condensate inside. Eventually the Whirlpool tech ordered a new door and this seems to have solved the problem - no leaks. So, if you are going to reverse the handle, make them order you a new door from the factory.

Our last refrigerator was almost 25 years old when when it stopped working. We went to our local Best Buy to shop for a replacement and we decided on this one. It has a nice large top freezer which I really love and the refrigerator is nice and wide also with plenty of room. We're very happy with the size, however, it's the electrical aspect of the unit that has left us very disappointed. After just 8 months of use we noticed it wasn't cooling like it should. We contacted Best Buy and they gave us the number to Whirlpool. Long story short...repair man came out but since there was a thick build up of ice inside the back wall of the freezer he couldn't tell the exact problem but he knew it would definitely be one of 3 parts. We had to leave the fridge unplugged for about 36 hours to give the ice time to melt at that time we were able to plug it back in and use it like normal while we waited for the parts to come in. A week and a half later the repair man came back out... in that short period of time ice was already building up again. He diagnosed the problem as the circuit board. He replaced it and so far so good. I'm not really comfortable enough to recommend the product to someone else and it makes me question Whirlpool products which is a shame because Whirlpool has always been a trusted name.

This whirlpool refrigerator is big and spacious. We bought it open box,a bit under four years ago. In that time, there was an issue with water leaking from inside of the refrigerator. The top shelf was wet and water leaked to the bottom. The refrigerator was still under warranty at that time and wast repaired. Now, the warranty has since expired and the refrigerator doesn't get cold anymore. Fruit and veggies got moldy and had to be thrown out. Meanwhile, the freezer is over freezing and is forming snow on its ceiling. Even the ice cream is rock hard. Overall, I don't think I'd choose a Whirlpool Refrigerator ever again. Now, we desperately need to buy a new refrigerator. Whirlpool, two thumbs down..
