I bought brand new refrigerator and they delivered a defected one with freezer door not shutting down properly.

This is ok for a smaller family. I do not like the height of the shelves. They don't adjust and heads up it is loud.

Good basic design that coordinates with other appliance brands.

The shelves are hard to adjust to fit either the door shelves.

Best Buy "professional installation" was not. Failed to use included water line restraint. Did lot lower leveling legs at all. Wrapping left in heap with some documentation. Allen screw, as used on handles, found in middle of floor. Compressor is much louder than in old refrigerator. Freezer door fits poorly and is not flush, due to two manufacturing defects. Service call is scheduled to determine whether new seal or door is required, and another visit will be required to repair or replace. It should never have left the factory in this condition. Will keep it only because it fits, as it is shortest 36" we found. .

Too small nothing fits. The door bangs open. Just junk refrigerator spend extra to get better one

Had to contact manufacturer to come and fix the appliance twice within the next 2 weeks after purchase.

Had to exchange to a different one. Very cheaply made and loud in ice maker.

It wasn’t supposed to be noisy per the description. It is. It makes a lot of noise.

It sounds like an old refrigerator... you can hear it from all the rooms. I am trying to return it.

I have owned this refrigerator for about 3 weeks now. I have a galley kitchen, which is a fancy way to say that it is a lot like a hallway after you add bulky appliances. This refrigerator sticks out 3-4 inches less than the old one, which makes a huge difference. I spent a good period of time looking at different counter depth models, and realized that for most of them you are paying more for less space. I bought this one as a discounted floor model, and was highly satisfied with the price, given the fact that this model is less expensive than most counter depths to begin with. I decided on a side-by-side, instead of a French door model, because getting into the freezer of the French door models felt a lot like reaching way down into a large bucket on the floor to me. It seems like you would have to dig frozen foods out of it every time. Every shelf in this model is easy to see and to get to. This refrigerator has plenty of space to hold groceries for my 2 person household. I read reviews for some counter depths about how small the shelves are. I suppose if you have a family of 6 or similar, you might not want to buy a counter depth refrigerator. I also read that there are not enough shelves in this model, which I did not find to be the case. I think that you have to spend a few minutes figuring out how you want the shelves to be organized to best suit your needs. The bins are plastic but the shelves are glass, which I really like. Some of the newer models are all plastic which feels and looks cheap to me. The door surfaces are magnetic, which I like. Surprisingly some "stainless steel" models are not magnetic. There is plenty of lighting. I like the fact that things don't seem to "get lost" in this refrigerator. You can see everything that you have when you open the doors. I did not have a water line before, so I just tapped into the line under my sink and ran it through the cabinets about a week ago. There are detailed instructions on how to get the water going once you have the water line connected. You are supposed to run about 3 gallons through to get air, etc out of the line, and throw away the ice for 3 days. I am just past that waiting period. The water and ice both taste good. I read that it was hard to push the thing for the water, but I have an 8 year old who can operate it just fine. The water filter was easy to install. Someone also commented that there isn't a shut-off switch for the icemaker. There are two models described in my owner's manual with different location for the icemaker on/off switch. Mine is behind the ice bucket in the door. Someone mentioned that the crushed ice feature sends ice chips flying everywhere. This doesn't happen if you hold a sufficiently wide cup up high enough to catch the ice. I haven't noticed any extra noises coming from the refrigerator, as some people have commented. I did check to make sure that it is level. If I am in the kitchen, I can hear the ice fall. It's not obnoxiously loud or anything, and I don't notice it in any other part of the house. I set the temperature to the recommended 37 degs F for the refrigerator and 0 degs for the freezer. That seems to do the job just fine. I have not noticed anything freezing on the refrigerator side. Cold air comes out of the upper left marked "fresh flow". A filter goes in there which is supposed to be replaced periodically. I just painted and put down new flooring, and this refrigerator looks beautiful in my kitchen. I haven't noticed any extra smudges. The only part you have to touch is the handle, so a "resists smudges" surface seems like overkill to me. That said, I don't have toddlers. So far, I am highly satisfied and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good solid basic counter depth refrigerator.

Was looking for a fridge that had the ice maker in the door. Saw this and one and the price was right, so I purchased it. Followed the instructions and after a few days, it was ready to do. Being a single person, not that I eat a lot of have a lot of good, but the fridge is just a little too small for me. There's not enough shelving in the freezer section and the shelves in the regular part are too close together. I have to be creative when storing items in the fridge part. When I went back to ask the sales person how would I go about purchasing another shelve, he wasn't sure. I probably should have them pick it up and exchange it out, but my budget for a counter depth was between $1100 and $1500 and this fit. The indoor ice maker is pretty cool. It senses the ice is low, after you dispense a lot and it starts to refill it. It is kind of nosy but it has something to do with the energy efficiency. It's not a bad refridgerator. I just have to be creative on how to stack stuff in the freezer. At some point I will probably end up purchasing a small deep freezer.

I needed a counter depth fridge, which can be difficult to find with enough space inside to fit groceries for a family. I am pleased with how much food I can fit, and was shocked to find out that I CAN fit a whole size frozen pizza in the freezer! We have owned this now for 6 months without any issues. It's quiet (the ice maker runs occasionally but is NO louder than any other fridge's ice maker that I've personally owned). Very happy with our purchase so far, especially for the price!

This refrigerator is a very nice unit, it is smaller then most but larger then most cabinet depths units. The ice maker is in the door and that being said it holds a little ice and isn't meant to supply Ice to a very large family ( the refrigerator isn't designed for that anyway) but let's not be hasty to judge the ice maker I came from a time if you wanted ice you had to fill the little trays and make your own ice so there was rarely ice in my drinks as a kid so people quite complaining and make some more ice if you need it really? If you let the ice machine make a good three or more days worth of ice it should keep up with a normal use family!! Other then that I'm impressed with this refrigerator for the price. Everything else in this type and size for cabinet depth is almost twice as much. I would recommend this refrigerator so far and have had good luck with whirlpool In the past.

First, I would like to say that my choice was limited, because I live in a house constructed in 1985 and few refrigerators fit the space allocated for the refrigerator in my kitchen and the door openings. This is a 1-2 person refrigerator, and maybe more if you shop often. Before you run out to buy food to stock it, you need to know that it takes 24 hours before it is cold enough to store food. The first two gallons of water must be thrown out, and the water is not cold. The first three trays of ice must also be thrown out. It takes 12 hours to fill the ice container and 72 hours before you have usable ice. The refrigerator is attractive, and I do not feel that I need more shelves. It is not the quality of the 25-year-old Whirlpool, but none on the market are. It is operating quieting and efficiency and looks good in the kitchen..

Overall this is a great affordable counter-depth refrigerator. The water doesn't dispense as fast as other brands and the interior shelves feel a bit cheap. But I do like that the ice machine is completely integrated in the freezer door so that it doesn't take up space. This limits how much ice it can store but it's a worthy tradeoff. All things considered this refrigerator is a solid buy

Fully functional and exactly as described. I did have to replace the ice maker component 2x since my purchase. However, I do believe it was just wear and tear from over usage.
