This is a good refrigerator. It cools food quickly and creates ice cubes faster than a snow storm. And, its ice storage capacity is outstanding! Running it for a few hours gives us enough ice for a week and we use ice daily. But it does have 2 issues. First, it is noisy. Luckily, it keeps its cool so you don't hear it too often. Second, The shelves are not as adjustable as I would like. All in all, we are satisfied with out purchase.

Needed a smaller side by side with ice and water, for a condo. Happy with this Whirlpool so far. I would say it is perfect for one to two people, but no more. Freezer section is small, not suitable for any type of bulk storage, Temperature control seems good. Water and ice features work great. Not totally quiet but not too terribly loud.

We were limited with the height of our new refrigerator and this one fit within that the range. This refrigerator looks great and live that it has water and ice dispenser within this price range. I have to agree that refrigerator is loud but appears to be a issue with back of refrigerator and the cardboard material that is used vibrating.

The Whirlpool 21.4 Side By Side Refrigerator is just ok. It does the job as far as keep food cold or frozen, but it is difficult to get ice or water out of the door without getting all over the floor and when we open and close the refrigerator side door it makes many squeaky or creaky noises.

Unit is aesthetically pleasing to look at. Excellent lighting in both fridge and freezer compartments. Quiet operation. Water dispenser worked well, but ice first contained bits of styrofoam. Overall, happy with purchase.

We have a small kitchen, so we were limited in what models we could select, so at first we were very happy to find this fridge. It worked great for about 3 weeks, when all of a sudden, we found things were thawing in the freezer, ice was building up at the back of the freezer, and items weren't staying cold in the fridge. Thankfully it was still under warranty, but it took 3 days for a technician to come out, and another 7 after they realized they needed to order a part. Hopefully now that it has been repaired, we won't have other issues. When it was working, it did the job just fine. We like the side-by-side layout, but you will need to keep tall items like jugs of milk in the door section, as the shelves are not high enough in the main portion of the fridge.

Great refrigerator! I does the job. It is small enough to fit the space in my kitchen. The only problem that I have, is that the ice maker is not producing a lot of ice. The repair company is coming out Thursday.

This is a _decent_ fridge, and the price is good. If you're like us, you had a very specific, small space for your fridge, and there were only like two fridge choices in that size with a ice/water dispenser on the front. Since that's the case, how can I really complain...and yet.... PROS -Price -Fits small space -Ice/Water Dispenser CONS -Ice gets everywhere, always flying out on the floor - is this the case with all ice dispensers? -Careful of that water dispenser - keep your cup under the dispenser for a second after you release the button or you'll get water everywhere. -Drawer action is not smooth, drawers get stuck often. -Fridge freezes liquids on top shelf, normal temp in rest of fridge. -Freezer space is cramped. Hard to fit a frozen pizza box. Door space is odd size.

I would have preferred the 33 inch wide stainless steel Whirlpool model with French doors and an icemaker/water dispenser, but due to the current supply chain disruption, I was unable to find one available anywhere. Instead, I purchased this model, as it was the only 33 inch wide stainless steel model that Whirlpool makes that was in stock and available for immediate delivery. I generally like this refrigerator, as it has adequate room for my two person household, but the freezer is smaller than I expected. I believe that the relatively small freezer in this model would be too small for a family with three or more children. One pet peeve of mine is the fact that this refrigerator sticks out from the wall farther than I would have preferred. It's slightly shorter (height wise) and slightly deeper than the refrigerator that it's replacing. It's really not such a big deal, but if this is something that might bother you, look for another brand (Whirlpool's model selection for 33 inch stainless steel refrigerators is limited) which is higher and won't stick out from the wall as much as this one does.

Change out all my kitchen appliances, refrigerator fit nicely it the space that I have, stainless steel looks good, shelves are not adjustable, but we can work with it, ice-maker is great, plus water dispenser.

Beautiful fridge works great. Had no issues. Had one drawer that had a crack in it when we got it home called Whirlpool. They replaced it immediately.

This is literally the only fridge that will fit in the existing spot because of height. So our options were this fridge… or rip out some cabinets. That being said. So far we like the fridge. I hate the water in front of the ice (instead of side by side) I’ve hit it multiple times going for ice. The shelving is a little odd… a frozen pizza doesn’t fit great in the freezer and I removed one shelf from the fridge. I’m much happier with the fridge that way and I figured out I can squish a pizza. Other con: the temp control on the ice maker- you can lock it but it locks allll the controls… to easy for little ones to mess with and not necessary to be on the front. Final verdict over all: we like it. Small improvements would make it much better but I would make the same choice again (over ripping cabinets)

Great for small family, not very spacious, three shelves, height cannot be adjusted to fit wine or large bottles. It’s a bit noisy, but it looks great! Water/ice dispenser has filter, water tastes good, avoids opening and closing refrigerator doors, veggies and lettuce stay fresh and cool. Just got it, but so far, I love it! Measure well before delivery to avoid a nightmare.

We have a very small space for the refrigerator This particular one fit just right. It was a scratch and dent model out of box. It was not obvious in the space we have. I will say that it is quite noisy. With the production of ice and the turning and clunking of the gears to dump the ice. Keeps everything cold!

Perfect fit for our smaller space. Wish there was some ability to move shelves. The heights on the shelves don’t work well for taller items that we use. Some of the freezer shelves also hard to access because of very bulky through-the-door water & ice unit. But all in all this was a reasonable solution for my elderly parents to be able to access the contents without too much bending.

Noisy. Freezer is too narrow for certain food items I bought (boxed pizza, waffle box). Similar issue for the fridge. The top shelf can't be adjusted, and items I normally buy just barely squeeze in there (gallon milk, OJ container).

I love this Fridgge! I have it for over a month now. I had a working top freezer Amanda fridge but it was over 20 years old, the ice maker had issues, and the seals were bad, there was some rust - it was OLD and tired. I read many reviews of all makes models and brands. Reviews can be scarey or reassuring or both. In the end, I picked this for the layout of the fridge and freezer and the dimensions of where it had to fit in my kitchen and then I made the leap- always a frightening thing on a major purchase! I would have preferred the ability to move the shelves for larger items but it actually is set up pretty well and I was able to thaw my 12# Turkey without issue. We don’t drink a lot of canned drinks so the space dedicated for cans on the door could have been a shelf for me but others may like it. The LED lighting is awesome- very easy to find what I am looking for. As for durability, only time will tell- hoping it will last as long as my old Amanda!

Probably like other purchasers of this refrigerator we have a height-challenged spot and thus few options. We got an LG last time, that one didn’t last 3 years...even fewer options this time, just this and the Amana. Consumer Report great review pushed us in this direction. Like others, the first thing we noticed is that this one is a bit louder than our last refrigerator. But not as loud as the circa-1999 fridge the LG replaced a few years ago. But after a couple weeks we don’t notice the sound. What we DO notice is the performance of this fridge. Much better performer in that category than last two fridges. I’m talking perfectly cold beer/beverages, and quickly cooling off. Fridge is constant 35 degrees on all shelves. Ice maker has fantastic performance and capacity, really haven’t seen anything like it. On our tile floor, wheels don’t lock and thus fridge pulls away from wall sometimes when you pull hard on it. I will get a little rubber stopper to solve that. Drawer construction feels a little cheap, maybe the n Just need to break in... Overall I am very happy with the performance and value. We will see how it does in the summer with cooling, but mid-winter it’s the bomb.

We love the looks of the fridge. Keeps food cold. Ice maker is loud.
