I like my refrigerator. The storage in the freezer section is not large. The ice maker works great

Great refrigerator love it works great for my needs

I was worried about getting a side by side fridge with the limited space I have, but this fits nicely in my old kitchen. The fridge side fits a medium/large pizza and the water line to the freezer was easy to connect.

This entire refrigerator has been a nightmare. I have a pantry on the side and cabinets above so i was very limited to what I could buy because of the size. This was the only fridge with the features that I wanted, and that would more importantly fit. I originally order in black. The first one came and was dented so they needed to reorder. The night before it was supposed to come, I got a call saying it would be another month before it came in. The next morning I went up to Best Buy to get it in the stainless color, of course, I had to pay an extra $200 but oh well. After the install, I noticed that items in the fridge were freezing. I tried moving things to different shelves. After about a month after I called Best Buy to have someone come out an look at it (I bought the extended service plan) they told me I had to contact whirlpool. So I did, and they sent out the service providers they use - Platinum Factory Service. The tech came and put a piece of foil over one of the vents in the back.... yes, foil! He said that the fridge pulls air from the freezer to pull the air in the fridge. It worked for a while, then I noticed I had more frozen food. I called back again (this is May now). Again, they sent PFS out again and of course you have to wait a week each time. This time he replaced the diffuser damper door. It worked until around last week and I had more frozen food. This is now July and the problem wasn’t fixed. Being livid after throwing hundreds of dollars of food away i called again. The supervisor from whirlpool sent me a $50 check to cover for food loss - that didn’t even make a dent. She was going to send PFS out yet again and of course a week. I told her I wasn’t waiting and wanted someone out that week. She ended up sending someone out the next day where this time he raised the freezer temp a setting colder because he said that if the freezer was colder the fan would pull cooler air in the fridge and the fan wouldn’t run as long.... this was not a fix. A few days later.... frozen food. I called whirlpool again where i talked to several people that told me the couldn’t replace my fridge of give me my money back. The one lady told me that someone else i talked to wrote that I was rude and was screaming. I most certainly was not.. I was upset as any consumer would be who pays over $1300 for a product that doesn’t work. I finally spoke to someone who sent out another service provider. They guy came out today and he told me that the guy who replaced the damper door didn’t hook it in the entire way and was constantly letting in a little bit of really cold air from the freezer. We will see if it works now. I wouldn’t recommend this product or any whirlpool product. Their customer service is a complete joke and the warranty company, Platinum Factory service shouldn’t be in business. Whirlpool doesn’t stand behind their products at all. I am buying a product from them, and they won’t replace or give me my money back for a product that is faulty. Then they write in the file about me that I am upset, of course I am! I was never rude, of course my voice gets heated as anyone’s would be dealing with this garbage. Shame on you whirlpool. This will be the last whirlpool product I ever buy.

I absolutely love my fridge. I read the reviews and was surprised at the many mediocre reviews but I gave it a chance and don’t regret it I love my whirlpool fridge :)

Within 1/2 hour of delivery, water stopped working, but ice maker works. Whirlpool said we had to have Best Buy trouble shoot it, but BB doesn't do that. 1 1/2 weeks later, I am STILL waiting for whirlpool to contact me in regards to this issue - 1) tried to register the fridge online, but it said invalid model. 2) tried to ask for assistance troubleshooting, would not assist. 3) No return contact as I have requested. 4) Fridge runs loud. 5) Seems more spacious that the top freezer fridge we had. I always thought Whirlpool had a better name and reputation, but I am thinking I am totally wrong - they won't even stand behind their products.

It’s a nice enough refrigerator, but the ice maker freezes up about once a week. It’s a poor design. We bought this because of high ratings, so I’m surprised by this issue. We could have bought a cheaper frig , but I wanted the ice and water features. Water comes out warm ( my old GE had cold water) and ice maker has issues. Disappointed.

We've owned this fridge for 2 years now almost to the month. First year it was great! Ice maker worked and fridge temperature was consistent. Warranty is a year so I was pretty happy. About 1.5 years in the ice maker started going on the fritz where I'd have to manually reset it every month because it would get stuck turning the ice from the maker into the bin. No big deal. Then the ice maker completely broke. Will not work. Now we can't put any liquids on the back right of the top shelf because it freezes them. Last month a small rusted spot under where the water dispenser is appeared on the "stainless steel" door.

It works great. I do wish the freezer was an inch wider often pizza boxes or larger items do not fit. Or that shelves could be placed more where I wanted them. Otherwise it’s great.

Unfortunately, it was too loud running and had to be returned. Not for me, but my roomie said it was giving her headaches so..idk...it's loud compared to what I now have.

This fridge is the perfect compact fridge you can buy. We have a tight fridge space in our kitchen and this baby fit perfectly. We really wanted a fridge with a water and ice dispenser and this thing does exactly what we ask for. Satisfied on all levels. But this!

I love it. It works great. I thought it was going to look a bit on the small side but it does not. It is just me and my husband so we have plenty of storage for us, no complaints here.

Solid refrigerator love the depth of drawers in here. 3 years later still looks great and gets cold as Antártica

I purchased a stainless whirlpool set for my new house I was moving into. I am extremely disappointed in the quality and the fact multiple appliances have issues. As this review is specific to the fridge I will begin with it is excessively noisy. I can hear it rattling while I sleep every night. It cools off and does everything else it should, however it only gets 1 star because I don’t even want it in my house and will be replacing as soon as possible. Do yourself a favor and pass on the whirlpool stuff.

As advertised. The fridge is great and fit nicely in home.

Overall, this is a decent refrigerator. On the positive side, it keeps food very cold and there is ample space. It also saves energy. Conversely, the water dispenser dispenses cool water, but not cold. I wish there were more slots for the shelving to accommodate taller items. Also, the water filter reset option does not work.

It is ok...kind of noisy. The door doesn't shut by it self until it it is only 12 inches from being close. It also opens all the way and slams into the wall by itself.

The seal around the door was damaged Best Buy refused to exchange
