The ice maker does take up a bit of space but I use it so much and love that. The ice can be cubes or crushed which is a great feature. Very happy with my purchase !

Nice refrigerator, icemaker motor very loud

The only problem is when the motor kicks on to make ice It is very very loud. I did call once and talked to someone, but I did not get any help from them. Unfortunately, they were very hard to understand. I will call again and try to get some help from whirlpool.

Delivery men kept me updated with time of arrival. The delivery men were prompt professional, and took great care removing the old refrigerator, Took all packaging with them. Couldn't ask for a better experience! Love my new whirlpool :)

Performance Of Our Fridge

You have to hold the glass up to the top and really press hard for the water to come out. Also, it makes a humming noise the whole time the water is coming out. Other than that, I’m satisfied with my purchase

Should have done my research more - disappointed that there’s no ”door ajar” alarm and have not gotten it completely closed a couple times. Also wish the “buttons” for ice and water dispensing were a little more sensitive. Read concerns re: noise of icemaker but have not experienced it to be excessive or annoying. Otherwise, no complaints.
