The only good thing we can say about it is that it's fairly quiet, probably because it's not working. We had a tech come out to see if there was a problem and they said No, it's doing the best it can, which is not to say much, because it's just a bad design and cheap dishwasher.

Something with the material it’s made from isn’t very well I guess?

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had previous whirlpool dishwashers and this one does not clean like the others. Who knows why not. Gets the job mostly done on the heavy wash cycle but the normal cycle doesn't get super-dirty dishes clean. It is however, easy to load, pretty quiet and doesn't take long to finish cycles. If I could exchange, would put my money on a Maytag or Kitchen Aid over this model.

It is now just over 2 years later and it is literally falling apart. The door springs have broken, so now the lid just falls open if you forget to let it down slowly. About 90% of the tines in both the upper and lower baskets are beginning to rust at the tips. It appears as though the coating they use to coat the steel baskets is thinner than what they used to use, or it just wasn't applied correctly at the factory. The inlet water valve also just needed to be replaced as it wasn't opening all the way causing the dishwasher to under-fill. The only positive thing is that it is quiet. But that doesn't really matter if it doesn't last more than a couple years. This will be our last Whirlpool product.
