It's SOO quiet you'll be asking yourself that. Once you understand its doing its job, you'll adjust to the quiet and focus on the quality of cleaning. The quality of clean is excellent, the various cycle options are excellent, the overall we love the dishwasher.

Definitely spend the extra money for a stainless steel tub which this one has. Dries better and keeps smells out. Sleek looking, top button controls and has enough features. Can't speak to how it would hold up in a family of 5 but for a family of 2 it has been working great for a month. Glad we went with this better model then the cheapest one.

After the jet engine my last one had I honestly can’t believe how quiet this model is. I have to double check it to see if it’s really running. My only complaint is the silverware holder is pretty small compared to other dishwashers I’ve had in the past. But that’s just me being nitpicking.

We also purchase the Whirlpool dishwasher along with the stove, microwave and refrigerator. Best Buy had the best deal on everyone of these appliances along with free shipping. Saved us a lot of money. The dishwasher also has more features then our older one. Dishes come out super clean without rinsing off first.

After my dishwasher broke, I read all the reviews on this Whirlpool model and thought it was great for the money. It is extremely quiet and I have not had any problems. I liked the idea of the anywhere silverware basket. The only drawback is that I found it to be a little smaller than the one in my last dishwasher.

Love this dishwasher so far. Very quiet compared to our older model Maytag. Stainless interior is beautiful and love the Black Stainless exterior (easy to keep clean). Only issue is the utensil holder on the door is not easy to use (although we have always had basket in lower rack, so maybe we need to get use to it)
