Poor performance. The heavy duty cycle does not clean the dishes as well as my old dishwasher. Disappointed.

Open box but was supposed to work! I was asked to pay the difference to a new one.

Won’t turn on, weeks-to get a tech to fix it. This is money well spent!

I really like everything about this dishwasher except for the upper rack Rack Adjusters.  We have has this since 2018, and we are replacing the third adjuster right now.  It breaks right at the plastic wheel each time, and on both sides.  They make the upper rack very adjustable for larger things.  So pans, canning kettle, and quart canning jars are being put on there.  I do not feel that they are too heavy for the rack, but I will now only put quart jars in the back end of the rack.  I can not say anything bad about the rest of the washer.  It cleans great, is quiet, filter cleans easily, the inside stainless bin is great, and it fit my old silverware basket in the rack, as I didn't like the in the door one.  Just make a better rack adjuster.  The first time we ordered new ones, they came with metal screws inside the wheels and we thought they were going to be better.  NOT!   It as, also, a lengthy repair, too.Deboah

This unit is extremely quiet and cleans well. We have noticed that our silverware is getting spots on it that need to be polished off. This never happened with our last dishwasher. I am not very happy with customer service when they state if you didn't buy the extended warranty you might be charged for a service call. The dishwasher is 5 months old. Be aware of this.

For our new washer, after two weeks, the top rack squeals terribly when opened. We've also noticed that even though we are pretty good about rinsing all the dishes before loading them, there have been a few dishes that come out dirty. I've seen streaking in the interior even though we have a water softener and use rinse aid. I love the exterior, the options, and how quiet it runs, but I'm really concerned about the negatives that we have seen in a short two weeks of owning it. We might have to return it, because who wants to deal with a new appliance with issues at this cost? What a pain.

This may not be the quietest dishwasher out there of have the most gee wiz features but it does the job and has some important features even the most expensive ones don't. The most important being a 1 hour wash cycle option, for those who dont want to wait 2 or 3 hours for clean dishes. There's no visible controls out front but the small single LED light tells you all you need to know. Blue for washing, red for drying, white for done. Simple elegant. Looks good too, with SS inside and out. And the interior design is flexible with a drop down top shelf and silverware baskets that can be mounted on the door or inside on the lower shelf.

Horrific. Thats words i have to describe my experiences with this dishwasher. I have replaced so many parts on this dishwasher in last 4 years its unfathomable. Along with sticker price 3 year warranty and all the parts for nothing. NEW SEALS NEW SPRAYERS NEW PUMPS It is always leaking water out seals, out of the pumps the hoses the connectors, so much so in fact it is ruining my cabinets, my floors. Who will cover that? I have called so many service requests on this and the problem was never resolved. All i keep getting told is pay for another service plan, pay for another technician and when i do all that and then some i call whirlpool to extend my frustration of how bad this product is they try to sell me another new dishwasher. Why in the He...would i buy another one? If you guys cant even fix this one? I wasted so much time and money and how i have been treated is absolutely unacceptable. I had 2 service techs out on this at same time and they couldnt even get it level. I ALWAYS rinsed my dishes off, i cleaned trap 4x a week. There is absolutely no reason for how this product performed besides complete lemon and i am seriously owed my money back.

HI I have a question is this disher washer supposed to have a burnt rubber or plastic smell from the side vent? That is my only issue or complaint , I have only used it once. other than that the dishwasher did what it was supposed to do but the burning smell from the side vent. can someone contact me regarding this issue. Thank you

The first month we had this we had an issue because the installer did not install the drain hose correctly. Called in a plumber to correct. Next, six weeks in, parts on the top rack broke. I ordered replacement parts from Amazon and we have replaced most of the top rack hardware several times over. Now the soap dispenser has broken. We have spent our purchase price and more in replacement parts.

Hello all, Just wanted to share that we were able to fit this dishwasher into a counter height of 33.6inch. That is the lowest height it can go is 33.5 inch so our was very snug but slip it fine. If you are looking for a good dishwasher, this is it!! just need to take the rear wheels off and the two front pegs to make it fit. make sure your floor is even from front to back. Looks great after it is installed. One last thing, if you have an old air gap for dishwasher, you might want to replace it as the old one may not have a wider tube for water flowing out from the drain. Our was old and it overflow from the top. Turned out the tube is short and narrow so that caused it! Nice dishwasher. Haven't tested the cleaning yet but will add to the review later!!

I bought this less than 5 years ago when I upgraded me kitchen. It cleans well for the most part. Like other reviews, I have to rewash dishes despite a pre-rinse. It's started leaking the past few months. I now have to replace my hardwood floors as they now buckle in front of the dishwasher. We have learned our lesson with Whirlpool. 2 stoves stopped working just after the warranty expired. My French Door fridge has ice build up in the back and will quit making ice. Washer stopped working after 3 years. Now, the dishwasher. I'm upgrading to Samsung and LG products. FYI, Kitchen-Aide is owned by Whirlpool.

I bought this dishwasher to replace my old kenmore. It never has washed my dishes clean except on heavy cycle. The rinse agent dispenser also did not work. Washer is less than 2 months old. Repairman stated bottom arm does not work. No wonder my dishes were still dirty! I will not ever bu y this dishwasher again. Paid more than 800.00!! Dont waste your money!

the heating element has gone out and I am now looking for some parts but it has been a good dishwasher

I had a Bosch diswasher in 2012. I just moved and got this model. This dishwasher requires scrubbing all dishes as it does not wash well. Silverware always with crusty food on it. Washing cycles are excessively long >3 hours. Drying is poor.

Great dishwasher. Quiet operation and easy to use.
