The packaging on this dishwasher allows for there to be damage to the door without knowing it. The cardboard can be pushed in and damage the door as spring back so you don't know it's damaged. When we went to install it, it was too late for the BestBuy people to do anything, and the Whirlpool customer service told us too bad. They refused to help us.

This dishwasher is awesome and well worth the money.

Ive always thoroughly washed my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. They go in cleaner than they come out. I don’t know what exactly is happening but my bowls and silverware come out with white dried scum on them, and our cups have crusty/chalky coat on them. I use the heat dry setting and the load always comes out SOAKING wet. My OLD dishwasher appliance worked 10x better than this one. New appliances just aren’t made very well now days. You can tell this is made cheaply, the top rack is squeaky and about to break apart it feels like. Don’t purchase this dishwasher unless you are wanting to rewash by hand after every load. We’ve resorted to hand washing most of our dishes now because the dishwasher just coats them with nasty crud either way.

I do not recommend this product. My dishes are always wet, the water always collects at the bottom and the condensation makes you want to wash them again before using. I have to open up the door to the washer for a few hours before putting up the dishes.

Has a bit of a smell and controls are not intuitive

This dishwasher is only one and a half years old and now it doesn’t wash dishes. Unfortunately I didn’t purchase an extended warranty since dishwashers typically last 5/6 years my previous dishwasher was a Samsung that lasted 10. Called a technician which cost me $100 to see if was worth fixing. I was told wash motor doesn’t turn on to push water through spray arms. The part would cost over $300, which doesn’t include labor. I contacted whirlpool who were willing to help me with part but I would have to pay another diagnostic fee for one of their technicians to look at dishwasher and pay for the cost of labor. Not worth it. I will never purchase another Whirlpool product.

Dishwasher, better than doing it by hand. Would recommend over a wife.

I bought dishwasher and was charged on my new Best Buy Credit card! Time started when I left the store Early March ! Not a word since but finlely got through on your night mare phone system and arranged the pick up on Friday April 3 was to be text when it was available! No text! Payment do April 7 so paid Now I start agian today calling the store which will take 1/2 a day to get assistance! Maybe just cancel check!

Doesn’t really dry that well. It looks like very cheap quality.

Only had the dishwasher 1 month. We called Whirlpool for service, and had to wait for over an hour for someone to answer. The service tech was on time and completed task. Had to make a 2nd call to Whirlpool and again waited over an hour for someone to answer. Still waiting for the service date. I am not happy with this product and would not recommend anyone to purchase. We have the additional protection plan with Best Buy but since this is only 1 month old, we have to deal with Whirlpool, and the thing is this dishwasher is a replacement for one that was only 13 months old and was actually covered by the additional protection plan. 2 lemons in a row both bought from Best Buy.

This was an upgrade for me. I could have gone with cheaper unit, but I went with this one since they claim to be quieter. However, this unit was still louder than my older Samsung unit. Also, installation was not as easy and staight forward as Samsung unit. Insulation around the unit constantly moved around... could have just tied around or glued to the unit like Samsung ones. For similar price, I recommend Samsung over this.

The dishwasher takes forever to wash dishes. 3+ hours

It does great washing the dishes but dishes always come out wet.

Don't like where the controls are. Also not great at drying.

Disappointed in the cycle options and cycle length. Three hours is excessive and contents are not even dry. Expected the product to be high performing like the sales and installation teams.

I bought this dishwasher to match all the appliances that I purchased. It looks nice but, it takes way too long to do a load of dishes. I feel it wastes more water and electricity than doing dishes by hand. I will probably return it.

Dishwasher worked great for a couple months, then heated wash and dry stopped working. The result is dishes as dirty as when they went in. Trying to contact Whirlpool is useless. Their phone systems leave you on hold for hours with no answer. Buy a different brand.

Well I don’t know if I like it because it has never been delivered.
