pump motor broke 14 months after purchase - warranty expired 2 months before it broke. Replacement part and labor cost almost as much as the original purchase of the dishwasher. Don't buy.

Bought this in 2020 and first top rack broke...we fixed with screws then it wouldn’t turn on, had a repair guy look at and he said it’s the electrical board. Not worth fixing. Now I have to buy another dishwasher.

So I purchased this dishwasher two years ago, in that time I have had the recirculation pump stop, which needed a cleaning and finally one week ago needed to be replaced. There is only a one year warranty on the machine for parts. When I called for a replacement part on this machine through whirlpool, I was told the cost of the pump would be $299.99 plus tax and shipping. I was going to bite the bullet and purchase the motor but was then told that the part would not be shipped till February of 2021. This is a week before Thanksgiving! So I ended up having to purchase a new dishwasher. I decided on a new Maytag with a 10 year manufacture warranty on all parts. I would not recommend this machine.

We love the new dishwasher so far! Installed ourselves about a week and a half ago.

We had it since 2019, and it never washed well compared to other ones we had. Bu that is OK. We have patience to rewash some dishes, even if we lightly wash them before we even put them into this dishwasher... The biggest issue I have now, is it stopped working after 3 years, and the cause of that is the water pump that circulates the water during the washing process. Well, I understand... Moving parts wear out eventually... But what makes me mad is this dishwasher was used only 2-3 times a month, plus we cleaned the filter on the bottom after every wash (even though there usually not much to clean), and the part that failed within a pump is a "bushing" that is made of graphite. A graphite...?!!! Seriously Whirlpool? This is how you design, and manufacture your appliances these days? Why couldn't you use a stainless steel bearing, or something else over there? It tells me how cheap you have become, and no longer care about durability of your products? What else is designed and manufactured by you with the same in mind? From now on I will stay away from all of the products... Owned or manufactured by Whirlpool. And those other brands are Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, and Amana. I am not saying that they are bad, but I know that many of your parts are used in other above mentioned brands as well, so and I am not taking a risk of buying another product that contains your failing parts. Hopefully this review will save someone a headache, and money.

Don’t buy it. It is the worst dishwasher ever. I don’t recommend it at all.

I bought a full kitchen suite of Whirlpool based on reputation. Was great while it lasted. 2 years and my dishwasher died model WDT750SAHV0. The tech came out and said it was a sump assembly and control board. Called Whirlpool and they said "Nothing we can do for you. You should have bought a warranty." I didn't buy one because of their reputation. Big mistake. One i won't make by buying Whirlpool or recommending to anyone again.

The dishwasher looks great. However as others have mentioned, the top rack broke with in the first year on one side and year two on the other side. The most recent issue is not the motor stopped working and the repairs are $400. I called whirlpool and all they offered was to sign up for a $360 annual plan or to buy an new one at a slight discount. I recommend you go with another brand .

Lasted 3 years...garbage. Main pump/motor/spary arm assembly died. Replacement = $540

I bought this model in February 2020 and am going to have to replace it already, as it quit working after just moderate use. The part needing to be replaced costs $400! Unfortunately, it only came with a one-year warranty. This model is basically crap. I won't be buying any more Whirlpool appliances.

Not quiet. Is it possible insulation is missing, my old dishwasher had insulation on the outside that you could see

So i bought this dishwasher in may and in august the motor went bad and had to be replaced. Best buy wont do an exchange and now I have to get it replaced by whirlpool. Buyer becareful

Never worked correctly,always leaked and after 3 yrs it’s still giving me a hard time to turn cycle on.

I moved into a house with this dishwasher. It has been a bad experience. We rinse everything because otherwise food gets stuck in the water jets somehow and the dishwasher won't clean anything. After two years of enduring and trying to repair we are giving up on this item

We bought this dishwasher in March 2020. It worked great up until last weekend when the circulation pump failed! Local appliance repairman quoted me $320 to fix it. Whirlpool offered to cover the cost of the part, but not the service fee or labor for the Whirlpool certified technician, which would have been $300+. So, zero benefit for me. I will buy a new dishwasher for that $ and it WILL NOT BE A WHIRLPOOL!

Don’t buy!!! We bought whirlpool diswasher a year ago. Dishwasher suddenly stopped working. My husband called geek squad and scheduled geek squad service. He came and told us he was gonna schedule two weeks later. After that nobody came or call on scheduled day. I called qeek squad again and I waited on the phone 1 hour 45 minutes. I decided to go best buy/geek squad. When I went Best buy try to talk the man, I tried to explain the problem because my diswasher has been not working for almost 3 months. He said I can’t help and do anything from here. Thanks for nothing BestBuy!!!!!!!! If you buy, that means you are gonna throw your money for nothing!!!!!

Just a warning I bought this dishwasher 2 years ago and the main control board has quit. This is a very expensive repair and I could just go and get a new dishwasher. Whirlpool customer service was no help because I could not find my original receipt when according to me serial number they knew exactly where and when I purchased this horrible dishwasher. NEVER BUYING WHIRLPOOL AGAIN!

Dishwasher never did a great job cleaning on the quick cycle - coffee grounds would be found left on "clean" dishes. And now plastic parts on the inside are breaking after 18 months of normal use. Junk.

Bought on 07/12/19 and have had to replace parts on this dishwasher way too many times. Everything from top rack wheels (twice), plastic stoppers on the end of the rails (twice), water pump, and the sump drainage assembly. Currently purchasing another replacement for the wheels and rail stopper for the top rack.
