The dishes don't completely dry and spots can be see. on the glasses. I never experienced this with any dishwasher alone a brand new one.

The cycle is much longer than traditionally. Evidently it is this way to be more efficient with the water. Cleans OK.

Purchased this August 2015. Worked okay for a few months then was spotty. Two years in, this machine worked intermittently. The dishes always cane out scummy and dirty despite a thorough scrape and rinse before putting them in dishwasher. We regularly cleaned the dishwasher and it didn’t help. Three years in, we had to run the same cycle 3-4 times in a row because it did nothing. It filled and then the arms never moved. At the end of the cycle, the soap would still be in the machine. Finally the control panel stopped working. Not worth fixing it because parts are $300 and service call minimum if $100. Not worth it fur this junk. We went Bosch for clean dishes. Never will buy this Whirlpool garbage again. I’d rather be without a dishwasher.

Have problems with controls. Very difficult to get machine to start. If I can get it started, it washes fine. What can I do?

Stopped working in less than 2 years. Bought a Whirlpool refrigerator at the same time and have had issues with it too. Would not recommend any Whirlpool products.

Very unhappy with all controls on top. Impossible to see when unit is tucked into cubby where if should be. Also dislike big handle/towel rack on front. Gets in the way when opening drawers. Cycle takes several hours to run.

Installed and runs fine. I rarely use dishwasher, so looks are the issue. It's ok.

If you want to buy a new dishwasher in less than 3 yrs this is the appliance for you. Don’t bother calling for repair costs almost as much as a new one.

Pieces constantly breaking and needing to be replaced. Now the control panel is dead and already need to buy a new one after a few years. What a waste of money.

Bought it when it was on sale 2 weeks ago and had a 10% coupon so it was almost half off, couldn't pass that deal up! Easy install, cleans well, and pretty quite I would say, at least compared to our old one! There are some models out there I know that you can barely here at all, but is it really worth paying twice as much...? No. Our previous house we bought the expensive one because it matched brand/color of our other applicances...won't be doing that again. This is a great dishwasher for the money.

I am in love with this dishwasher already. Have had it less than a week but this Whirlpool runs circles around the GE dishwasher I had, which was out of commission for a couple of years before I decided to buy another one. This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever heard. At times it doesn't even sound like it is on!! It looks great. Controls are on top of door and not exposed so the buttons are safe from the grand kids. Tried all settings and the one hour quick setting is just as good as the Heavy setting. No difference in how clean the dishes are. Had a little snag with it not being in stock when my installer went to get it but it was quickly corrected. Delivered in the time given. The installers were professional, very informative and were in and out so quick! Rating the item and the delivery & install a 5. One more appliance to switch over to Whirpool and my kitchen will be complete!

Initially I liked the dishwasher. Then, after just having it for a little over a year and a half, the motor went out. The appliance techs quoted me more to fix it then it was to purchase brand new. This dishwasher choice was utterly disappointing. Save your money and look for something else that is higher quality.

After 20 years we decided it was time for new dishwasher. (Had a Gibson basic model.) I spent a full week researching Consumer Reports, Best Buy verified reviews, other sites and this dishwasher ranked high with users. Bought it, installed and after 2 weeks have an opinion. Pros: QUIET! Measured just 52 decibels from one foot away (quieter on other modes.) LOTS OF SPRAY POINTS. In door, top rack and elsewhere. No problem cleaning. ADJUSTABLE TOP RACK which is nice however the 4 clips can get in way of larger glasses in that area (just re-arrange to accommodate smaller space. Easy to adjust height too. CONS: This dishwasher, even with the drying ring in bottom DOES NOT FULLY DRY THE TOP RACK OR THE SILVERWARE IN DOOR. To remedy this problem, leave silverware basket in bottom rack so it's over heating element instead of in the door. We use the HEAT setting on all washes. Only use the 1 hour wash as well. We left door closed for hours after and still did not dry all silverware or parts of glasses on top rack. We will not use a "rinse aid" chemical to dry what dishwasher should do with heating element. CANNOT ACCESS JUST HEAT CYCLE if you wanted to run heat again to dry. In addition, the dishwasher sides and door don't fully dry. LEAVE DOOR SLIGHTLY OPENED to allow air flow for evaporation. All in all, love the nylon racks and styling. Clean looking front and based on price, consumer reports ratings ( EXCELLENT on WASHING, ENERGY USE and VERY GOOD on NOISE) we can recommend this dishwasher after 2 weeks of use. Update later after more use. Good luck!

Best Buy’s delivery/installation team didn’t bring an adapter plate for under the counter. I had to order one and install it myself due to all of the issues with the installer. Also, this machine just completely died after three years. The motor needs replace which would cost as much as a new dishwasher. Look elsewhere.

Didn't even last a year - just stopped cleaning dishes. By the time I troubleshooted it, the warranty had expired by less than a week. S.O.L. It's gonna cost the price of a new cheap dishwasher to repair it so I'm buying a another brand from another store.
