    Do not buy this dishwasher!

    DO NOT buy a whirlpool dishwasher from Best Buy!! If anything breaks or stops working within the 1st year, geek squad will not do anything because it is still under the whirlpools 1 year warranty and you will have to call them directly and you could be waiting MONTHS like I was told. Our dishwasher broke 4 months after buying it and we cannot get it fixed by anyone despite it being within both our warranty from whirlpool and also geek squad. We will be paying out of pocket or waiting 6+ weeks for whirpool’s own service crew. Seems crazy with TWO warranties that we have to find a third party to fix it and pay for it separately.

    Dishwasher installed and then popped an error code. Best Buy folks who installed it came back out but said they were not authorized to cut a hose that would fix the problem. Had to file a warranty claim on a brand new dishwasher. It was eventually fixed but the fact that I had to deal with problems on a brand new dishwasher were extremely frustrating.

    I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY AGAIN I UAED MY DEBIT CARD TO MAKE THE PURCHASE AND HAD IT INSTALLED MONDAY AFTER CHRISTMAS AND HAAD IT TAKEN OUT DAY AFTER NEW YEARS BECAUSE IT WAS NOT DRYING GOOD I CHECKED WITH MY BANK TODAY I CALLED BEST BUY GOT FERNANDO HE WAS RUDE ARROGANT DISRESPECTFUL LIKE MOST OF YOU CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE ARE VERY DISRESPECTFUL NOW FERNANDO TOLD ME I HAD TO CALL MT BANK TO FIND OUT WHEN MY MONEY IS GOING BACK IN WHY I HAVE NO IDEA I DO NOT KNOW WHAT MY BANK HAS TO DO WHEN I AM GOING TO RECEIVE MY MONEY THEY NEW HOW TO TAKE OUT MY MONEY WHY CAN'T THEY PUT IT BACK EVEN 3 DAYS AFTER

    Works adequately. Did not receive an instruction manual so have to look up all questions online. Cleans adequately also but not great so far. A normal cycle takes over 3 hours. A plus is that’s is very quiet.

    Bought dishwasher a year ago and it failed after 4 months (Feb 2022). After requesting a warranty repair it took another 4 months to get the part to fix it. Then just a bit over 2 months after it was repaired it failed again with the same exact issue a faulty control board. It literally died 2 days after the warranty expired and neither best buy, whirlpool, or the repair company will take responsibility for what is clearly a lemon. And I am once again stuck with a non working machine. I will not ever buy a whirlpool appliance or deal with best buy for one again.

    Poor performance and bad service

    Appliance stopped working in less than 3 months. Now i am stuck calling manufacturer and geek squad back and forth so someone can come fix it. Have been kept on hold with no proper response for an hour now. Agent just keeps transferring calls. Extremely horrible experience.

    Dented from manufacturer

    Received this item with the front dented. Best Buy apparently starts the return window from the date of the order, so once I realized it was dented I could not return. Best Buy has been no help in resolving the issue, and neither has Whirlpool. I just wasted $700 on a dishwasher I cannot use. I was planning on replacing the range and microwaves next, but after my experience with Best Buy and Whirlpool, I will shopping elsewhere.

    Bad purchase.

    Less than two years old and it is completely broken the control board and the top control buttons got water in them and fried all the electronics. It started when the steam escaping the dishwasher during the sanitize cycle started to lift the top control buttons up and a few weeks later the water killed all the electronics.

    I had a Bosche--had to wash everything before I put in the dishwasher--Now I just scrape and rinse! I marvel at how clean everything is. I have never had a dishwasher that gets things clean with no rinsing--game changing. Have had this dishwasher a month now and will update should things go wrong.

    This is noisier than I thought it would be. Expensive, but all appliances are expensive. Like the fingerprint resistant feature.

    First and foremost…It doesn’t dry the dishes! The racks are not user friendly. I’ve had dishwashers for 40 years and have never had to strategically place items so they didn’t roll or move around. Bad design and you have to hand dry the dishes.

    Dishwasher is defective

    I received this dishwasher about two weeks ago and it constantly beeps and gives an error reading that says F1/E1 and then starts draining. According to the manual this is a control panel defect. We unplug it to reset the unit and after a few minutes or a few hours it starts up again. The beeping is very annoying, as is the loud draining sound. Browsing through the reviews, it sounds like another customer has had the same problem. Best Buy was helpful and is bringing out a new unit, but I’m concerned it will have the same problem. We will see. I recommend that others avoid this unit and look at other brands. Whirlpool seems to have quality control problems.

    Leaks water on floor and keeps needing repairs

    After 5 months, the dishwasher is leaking and leaving a puddle of water on my floor. Whirlpool has been out 4 times already to repair it and now wants to come out a 5th time. I've asked for it to be replaced but they will only continue to repair it. I would not recommend this machine and would stay away from Whirlpool in the future.

    Confused not as pictured

    My dishwasher did not come with the pictured handle. The installers said it can come with a different handle. I purchased this because a friend has one. The handle on it looks like a towel rack and does not match my other appliances. I was informed by the installer I could purchase the other handle?! I don't think so. I had to call Whirlpool for a repair issue. Its taking 2 weeks just to get someone out. I am hoping the can switch out the handle and fix/adjust the door....otherwise RETURN!!

    Watch out for leaking

    The heating element deteriorated at the seal and leaked water on our wood floor, ruining the floor. Apparently this was a recalled item and we were not made aware. Whirlpool has replaced the heating element with steel gasket seals rather than aluminum or brass material. I'm in the process of filing a damage claim to our wood floor.

    Huge Disappointment

    Worked well until it didn’t. Less than four months old. Took 2 weeks to get a repair person-now he has to order a part-no telling how long that will take and then another wait to schedule the repair. Most likely not going to have a dishwasher for my 20+ family Christmas dinner.
