It is not hooked to the garbage disposal... There is still a bit of moisture in the unit after drying that could cause a musty smell, but other than that...it's a good appliance.

Love/hate this diswasher

It cleaned better than many others we've owned over the years, but conveniently enough, the door started breaking off right after the warranty expired. We've had it repaired, but every few weeks another part pops off. Whirlpool won't do anything because the warranty is expired. Lesson learned

Love the features but physically disappoints

However, I already have rust on the front not sure why but this happened within a few weeks which is very disappointing. Another issue was the plastic to protect the product was almost impossible to remove!
