This dishwasher is so quiet, I can barely tell when it's running. It is so sleek, no handle sticking out or buttons that get accidentally pressed. I love how the top rack can move up or down to accommodate larger items below. The entire cycle does take about 3 hours but it doesn't really matter to me.

We purchased this to replace our Bosch which had failed. It is whisper quiet! I enjoy the top (third) shelf as it allows for washing things like pizza pans and other large but flat items. I am still learning to accommodate pots and pans properly on the bottom shelf and that is my main complaint: there aren't enough ways to turn down rows of tines on the bottom shelf. Also, the full cycle is even longer than it was on the Bosch. So, only 4 stars, but generally quite happy and it was a bargain compared to other similar models.

This dishwasher will have you checking it over and over to make sure it is running. It is super-duper quiet. Mine is not fully encased in the cabinet yet, but it is still whisper quiet. The dishes come out clean. They are steaming hot right after it finishes, so let them cool before grabbing them. The top rack has come in handy a few times so far. Nice bonus. You will not be disappointed with this machine if you are looking for quiet, basically silent

This dishwasher has been a long time coming. Had a portable years ago, but didn’t want to go that route again. Had to hire a plumber, electrician, and then installer to take out a cabinet and set it up.
I did much research on dishwashers, and chose this one based on the features and reviews. I love how quiet it is, the third rack comes in handy, and it does a great job cleaning. The pocket handle was important to me, as there is the basement door next to it that would have hit an extended handle. It’s also very attractive, love that it’s fingerprint resistant. The only negative that I’ve experienced is that a few of the upper rack bowls have water on top, even using extended dry. It may even be the way I loaded it, but not a big deal for me. I’m very happy with it so far!

This dishwasher was relatively easy to install (self-installed) and works well. Please note that some 'universal' drain extensions will not, ironically, work on this model. To be upfront, you MUST use a liquid drying agent with this model or your plates will not be dry.
It's very quiet when it's running and we can't hear it from an adjacent living room (open walls). The only thing we ever here is the drain cycle as we can hear the water through our sink.
The dishwasher cleaned and dries as expected as long as you use a drying agent.
Our model came with a door seal that was damaged in shipping or storage. We previously had a competitor model with issues and it was a nightmare to get a live person. Whirlpool... was NOT a nightmare. We called them, explained the issue, and they sent out a new seal with no fuss. It installed perfectly and we've had no issues since.

After using this dishwasher for about a month I can now give an honest review. Cleaning performance is excellent, and so far I haven't had any problems with dishes not getting dry as other reviews have stated. I don't like the top control on this model as it's hard to read and would have preferred to have the status lights on a front control. I didn't really want the 3rd top rack but found that I use it all the time. It is a quiet unit, however my previous dishwasher was a KitchenAid that I'd had for years and it was quieter than the Whirlpool. All in all this unit does a great job of getting every level of dishes clean and I would definitely recommend this model.

Although t=not rated in the quietest category it is a very quiet dishwasher.
The tub is very tall tall and there is plenty of room even with the skinny third rack in the top. Because the tub is so tall the door and bottom rack are lower than older dishwashers.
Cycles are a little long but i9t does a great job cleaning the dishes.
The manual lacks decent information on the cycles- missing things like the temperatures it uses for each cycle and when or fif it will heat the water during some cycles.

This dishwasher has been great. It is so easy to use and maintain, is so quiet, and gets our dishes super clean. It has many of the features of other high-end brands at a much better price. Our installation experience was also great--so our thanks to the local Best Buy installers.

I love this dishwasher. I had an old dishwasher that you could run only if you were out of the room because it was too loud to carry on a conversation in the kitchen while it was running, this one is so quiet you have to stop and listen to be sure it’s running, it gets the dishes super clean and I have absolutely no complaints. I also love the top silverware rack and adjustable middle rack to accommodate larger items. Overall it’s a very good dishwasher.

Very quiet with the stainless steel lining, and overall an excellent purchase. I love the design of the tub and the way I can fit so many dishes and silverware in (especially the utensil slots that space the items perfectly and the additional third drawer). Dishes come out clean if you scrub off most of the food first, and they're also dried well! My last machine was a GE that didn't do either well, so this feels like a big improvement.

It has been a long time since I have had to buy a dishwasher and truthfully I was overwhelmed! If I could have chosen one without having to consider price it would have been a lot easier but since that wasn’t an option I set out to try to find a high quality dishwasher within my price range and which had a third rack. This dishwasher was my choice after much research and Best Buy’s sale price and so far it has not disappointed! It is so quiet that sometimes you can’t even tell if it is running and I have to depend on the light to know when it has finished. I am very happy with this purchase and feel it will prove to be a good choice.

Love the top rack and adjustable middle rack. Unit is quiet and dries dishes nice if you use the extended drying option. Dishes come out clean and unit was easy to install.

Cleans dishes well. The top (third) drawer is a nice place for the little things that can get lost or tossed about. The adjustable second drawer was a selling point but once we found the height we like we haven't adjusted it. Much quieter than our previous dishwasher; quiet enough to not disrupt family conversations ten feet away. It is nice to have an express option when time is short. Still cleans dishes, but perhaps they are not as dry at the end.

My dishwasher is great and has exceeded my expectation. First, it looks amazing in my kitchen with a stainless steel finish matching all other appliances. Next, the features are great and having a third rack aids in completing all dishes in one cycle. Also, adjustable racking allows for different size of pots, pans, plates, and other components (blender, juicer) fit which normally would need two cycles due to the overage capacity. The dishwasher isnt loud but still one can hear when using, also, most features require a long washing duration exceeding two hours with a max of 4 hrs. Overall, I rate this product 4.5 of 5 stars.

Attractive and efficient dishwasher. Cleans and dry well! Long cycles but that’s the way they are now. I like the third rack and stainless steel interior. Very quiet.

Beautiful sleek design. Love that the controls are located in the top of the door. Middle rack gives you the option of adjusting the slots for larger items. The utensil holder is removable for ease of putting utensils away. This dishwasher runs so quietly I could barely tell if it was on. Also, has a tiny LED light that indicates that the dishes are clean. Not: you will need to buy an additional part to install. Best Buy offers the kit, but you can buy at a hardware store for a few dollars. Not sure why Whirlpool doesn't include this tiny connection part with the dishwasher.

Installation was pretty easy because my husband had installed our last one so he knew what he was doing. There were some unnecessary steps in the directions which was a little confusing so he just did his own thing.
I have only had the dishwasher for a couple weeks so I’m still experimenting with different settings. A regular cycle takes a long time (3hrs) but I guess that is normal now. Quick wash setting (1 hr) works well but dishes don’t dry thoroughly on the regular dry cycle. I decided to try the extended dry cycle however that only works with the regular wash cycle. It adds an extra 10 minutes but did a much better job drying the dishes. There is a sensor cycle which takes 4 hours and a soak and wash cycle that is almost 8 hours but I haven’t tried them yet.
I love the third rack but I’m guessing to allow for that extra room the dishwasher tub sits much lower than my old one. Racks are lower so it takes a little getting used too but not a big deal. Just a comfort thing,
I love the finish, no streaks or finger prints so far. Some dishwashers I looked at had a cheap looking plastic interior This one looks good inside and out. It is very quiet running. All and all it beats washing dishes by hand and compared to some others the price was right.
